News Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Unless asked, the U.S. Coast Guard has no plans to break the ice accumulating at the mouth of the Grand River. The federal agency has done so in the past, using the Great Lakes ice breaker Neah Bay to crush a path through the Grand River's ice up as far upstream as the ship turning basin in Grand River Village.More...
