SEADUCKTION Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Well it was a planned trip for Empty Hooks birthday to hit the river with a few friends. If we would have know it was going to be -15 we would have not scheduled it this weekend. We had to get on the river to get "the spot", and it worked. It started from the word go and did not stop until we left, and then I heard it continued after we left. Tally was between 17-20 landed, and atleast half that again lost, all steelies except on coho. Bags, beads and PW's were the ticket, we had 3 doubles and 1 triple. I asked Popeye if he was interested on joining us since he was in town. Wish it was not cold, but he was able to get his first SR steelie to the bank, and on the pin no less. Biggest fish was around 13-14lbs, with many in the 7-10lb range. It was a fun day with great friends, and look forward to do it again soon. Enjoy the pics. All fish released except the coho. Good Luck. Rich Wonder who this bundle up warrior is:
SEADUCKTION Posted January 13, 2009 Author Posted January 13, 2009 Thanks Mike, it sure was cold out there that day. Come on Spring, I want to be on the boat so bad. Rich

Losin Lures Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I love the classic look to the first pic. Could be a magazine cover for In Fisherman or Field and Stream or something.Nice fish too.
