Nailer Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 I've been Ice fishing out in front of my house the last week or so (Campbell Lake). The fishing has been fantastic. From what I here though it's been good all over. I've been using Fiskas jigs and .005 sewing tread (this is a great combination), with Mouses on them. I took the camera with me for a quick couple photos tonight. As you can see in this shot the fish are stacked up from 18 to 14'. Here's a shot of the jigs and tread. The jigs are made of tungsten, so they are heaver than lead jigs. (Gander has them) the tread was bought at a fabric store.
Priority1 Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 GJ Ken. I have heard of people using sewing thread, ice fishing for pan fish.
