Priority1 Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 It seems the forecasters have a better handle on the Winter storms, than their Summer forecasts. They have been dead on with all of the past few fronts. We have a strong Noreaster blowing up here. We are getting 6 inch whitecaps in the toilet bowls. I don't think we will get much snow accumulation up here, but there will be some serious drifting. Batten down the hatches matey, and let her blow.
JWheeler Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Better put your life jacket on:grin: It's been snowing all morning, maybe 8", shoveled the drive once, will do it again later when she's all done snowing. Lots of wind down here too, if they are right, looks like a bit of snow each day for the next few.
fishsniffer Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 ill call the wife and make sure she snowblows again before i get home..

Paulywood Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 I think we have close to 10" here. My wife got stuck in the driveway. I guess she couldn't get through a measly 4' drift in front of the garage door. I found out it's hard to snowblow through drifts that are taller than the lawnmower.

Those drifts are a lot denser than fallen snow. It's tough blowing them no matter how deep they are.
