Endangered mussel species found in Thames River

Researchers have found a rare and endangered species of mussel, the Rayed Bean, living in a section of the Thames River, Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA) officials announced Monday (Nov. 24). This specimen represents only the second population of live specimens in Canada.
