GLF Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 (edited) Hi all I used to have a charter fishing business in Manistee, Mi In the 80's I now live near Canton Ohio and do not fish to much any more:( I still have quite a bit of fishing equipment left (Mostly Lures) My new passion horses but i still think of the great lakes and some tiems wish to be back on them Gary Welcome to the site dad! I have a lot of memories from fishing Lake Michigan with my father. The one trip out of Ludington in the 70's stands out above the rest. Then there was the charter when I lost 2 of your chrome downrigger balls. I do not have any chrome downrigger balls, so you do have to worry about me loosing them Come up and go fishing with us next year. Your grandsons will show you how to reel them in. anthonyyost Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Is that Frampton on the radio in the background? Cant get much better than that!
Nailer Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Welcome Gary. You went from one money pit to another ( boats/fishing to horses) I have two boats and my Daughter and wife have a horse.
Paulywood Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Hi Gary. I've spent time on Lake Michigan with your son and grandsons. They are all good people. And Mike told me how bad a following sea can be;) As far as horses, you can have them. We had a lot of horses when I was a kid and I could care less if I ever saw one again. Stupid hayburners. Now salmon on the other hand........ Welcome aboard!
captain_crabass Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Welcome aboard Gary, if you ever want to fish Erie out of Ashtabula, we almost always have an open spot, just give a shout
