Adam Bomb Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Hunted this morning. It sure was clear and cold. It got cold enough that the water had a bit of ice near shore. There was wind early, but it died down. I though the cold weather would have the birds on the move, but it was pretty slow overall. I took a lone Suzy about 5 minutes after shooting time began. She came in cupped and locked beautifully. Let her have it at about 15 yds...Next thing i know theres a duck bomb headed right for me!...She hit the water about 8' from me making one hell of a splash....Damn the waters cold! Other than that i heard a few shots early and that was that. Gonna try again tonight, hopefully things will get better.
