looking for eyes at fairport

Looking for the eyes out of Fairport. It seems everyone is going after the jumbo perch now and forgot about the eyes. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob

Caught a couple decent eyes off Fairport on Friday...went strait out Northeast to about 70 fow. Had nothing nothing until about 6:30 then hooked one on the small dipsy set at 2 about 175ft back on a spoon. Reeled him in and started to set the dispsy back,while doing that another hit the same spoon before we could set the rod in the holder.Nothing else seem to work,had riggers deep and ranging from 40-60 feet but no takers.Seems like the couple we got were hitting shallow.

Bob, I have not seen the actual catches, but, it comes from some very good sources, that walleye are being taken out in front of Fairport, in the 30-35 foot range.

I haven't had the ability to get out there, but hope to before the season ends.
