EdB Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 To reflect and remember the victim's of 9/11. May they rest in peace, may their families find solace and comfort and may all those responsible receive the justice they deserve.
1mainiac Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 AMEN Let's also not forget those who serve as well from the firefighters and emergency workers to our military. 9/11 will allways have a place in my heart for many reasons one it reminds me my wife's birthday is tommorrow. But I will never forget the actual day our entire shop stopped work and everyone stood in front of the TV's watching the towers and all the rest as the second tower came down my phone rang and my son called to inform me that he had joined the Army on the 10th and was coming down to visit before he left for bootcamp. He is getting ready to go back over for the 3rd tour and has close to 2 years over there allready. There is no way to describe the feeling of seeing your only son go off to combat, pride mixed with fear and worry but mostly pride knowing I gave my son solid values and honor for both God and Country. Rayman96 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Totally agree and let's not forget those who still serve to preserve our way of life.9/11 is a day that will be hard to forget for a long time. I still remember where I was as video of the twin towers was broadcast over the internet at work.
