LkEffect Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Took advantage of the calm seas and fished saturday morning and sunday evening out of Pentwater. Sat am produced great fishing 55-85 ft down over 90-120 fow. Lots of nice kings in the teens and a few coho as well. Best setups were the 11" white hotchip with the oceana rapture fly on a rigger 85' down as well as on wire divers 150' back. 225' of copper with green splatter back ace hi plug and lemon ice stingray were hot as well.Sunday evening was picture perfect. Started out in 140 fow with a couple of coho on ace hi double glow plugs on the coppers, then moved in to 85-90ft as the sun was setting and the fish went nuts! Ended up with 5 fish on at once, everything was getting bit 40-60' down. Green glow prochip with the hypnotist rapture fly as well as the blue bubble setup were hot. Ended up with a mix of cohos, kings and lakers. Still lots of mature fish around so get out there!
JWheeler Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Sounds like a sweet night to me. PWater is one of my favorite west side ports. Never a lot of traffic, and fishing has typically been the best out of there for me. Nice job....
