tltorrice Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 We also fished the WMFL event on Sunday and left the dock around 4:15. We ran out to 90 fow and realized we had time to kill before we could set lines. At 5:00 we set lines between the nets to the north and south. We trolled an area from 110 feet to 140 and landed 7 fish. We had 4 other that got away. Our active baits were the Siggs Green Mist fly on a pearl ProTroll flasher, Superman J-plug took 3, Yellow Killer on the rigger, NBK on the slider. We did not run any core because it was too rough and the number of boats in the area. We ran two downriggers with sliders and two mag dipseys. A good time was had by all.
GLF Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Nice job Tom and crew. Thats one hot looking bait in the picture.
tltorrice Posted August 26, 2008 Author Posted August 26, 2008 There were a lot of people trying to get their hands on it!
2UNREEL Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Nice report Tom........I had a similar setup out untill it got wrapped in my lead core..... That was the end of my lead program on Sunday, I stuck with 2 riggers and 2 diseys as well.
