JWheeler Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Well it is 4:31, I don't usually get up this early unless it is to go fishing. My good girl Belle woke me up off the recliner, woof woof. Thought she wanted to go out and to the bathroom, walked into my kitchen to see the sink overflowing onto the floor. :help: So thank god I have a little break in the action tomorrow, I mean today, cause it now looks like I have to play plumber for the day. CRAP!
Priority1 Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 GL with the Plumbing Jason. I pretended to be a Plumber for almost 40 years.
JWheeler Posted August 8, 2008 Author Posted August 8, 2008 Still can't get it. Going to have to make some cuts tomorrow. Really scratching my head on this one????
Priority1 Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 If they are older galvanized pipes, don't hesitate, just cut them out. Replace them with PVC and make sure they have good venting and the proper pitch. Improper use of fittings can cause problems also. 90 degree fittings are not meant to be laid on their sides. Chit runs down hill, and payday is on Friday.
JWheeler Posted August 8, 2008 Author Posted August 8, 2008 All new PVC seemed to do it. Major clog where the PVC entered the cast iron. I guess it is good to wear many different hats. Now a little catch up on a couple days of dishes.
