LkEffect
Fished sunday morning from the middle of the dunes to the south. Started in 50 fow and went without action until reaching 85 fow which turned out to be our most productive depth. The cold water was only about 30' down after the north wind on Sat. Divers 75'-120' back were good early with 8" white/slick glow prochip with an oceana rapture fly as well as the 8" blue bubble prochip with blue bubble rapture fly. Then 5 and 7 colors of lead with lemon ice and caramel dolphin stingray spoons got hot for a while. Towards the end of the morning the action was back to the divers again with the white/mt dew/crush glow tape prochip and hitman no-see-um rapture fly getting hit well. The highlight of the morning was having a steelhead blast an NBK stinger on a slider set 30' down and then launching into the air from out of the propwash. Also had a couple of steelhead hit a 3 color with a stinger jawbreaker spoon. Mostly 8-12lb kings with one very near 20lbs. Good Luck!
GLF
Nice job Brian. Are you fishing any more tournaments this year?
LkEffect
Thanks Mike. I think we are done for the year as far as tournaments go. Plenty of fishing left though
