Jimmy, This was the first time I ever had that big of issue... I just got to far to the north side when leaving the launch. Are there any other major sandbars that were not out there last summer

yeah... I might just have to take a day off next week and go fishing

Insurance called... Everything is going to be covered and I should have the boat back next week.

Water pump blew Oil pump blew Carbs... blasted prop gone Some more to list, but cant remember- Hull of the boat was fine, tried to use the kicker to get off the sandbars and out to big water. We shall see if it is a total loss Tuesday morning. On the plus side the Lower unit looks good though.... She was running like a champ, and a random sandbar got the best of me. I may or may not have cut the corner a bit to close on the north side of Mac. 10 foot 10 foot 6" so my luck Trying to figure out if I can afford to fix it or give it up:(

4300 in damage Waiting on the insurance to see if they will cover any....

I hope to be back up and going next weekend. I put a few hours in fixing the wench this afternoon. I find out in the morning when I can drop the boat off.

Buddy was driving the boat and put us up on a sandbar in lake Mac Spend the next 2 hours getting myself off the sandbar with the kindness of a stranger:) Sheered a bolt on the trailer Wench busted Big motor needs some work and is going in Monday, Ran fine now it wont start and plugs are dirty as hell (changed them before we went out new kicker by the end of the work week. Hmmmmm All in all could have been better, but next trip can't get any worse. Dave

It was a great time on the pier.. not a soul around fishing in 5-7 foot waves.

Fished a west side iceburg tonight.. 0-1 on spawn cold.. icey also hooked an iceburg the size of a vw bus

I hoarded 3 new divers 3 new body baits some spin glows a new rigger rod and some tape for some spinnies and the wife was with me.... she asked me "is that all your going to buy...." lol

God I wish I was more handy
