Fished Holland with Dan the builder friday AM.... ended up 4-11, with fish just comming unbuttoned. 2 nice kings both 15 plus 2 lakers Lost a couple screamers and a monster buttom hugger on the SWR.. What worked... Patriot on the 350 and the rigger down 112 BLL White nose dolphin (BLL Prototype) silver Meat rig on the bottom BLL Modified Kevorkian SWR down 100 BLL Irish Car Bomb (Prototype) Patriot but with green 300 45 pound BLL green Kermit on the 300 32 pound BLL Mod Blue Veggie 250 32 pound Needless to say we had our chances .... Best troll was 100 to 110 on the 330 (Same as last trip) North of Holland ... I will post more about the boat problems later.. and how much of a shlup i am.

The fishing was steady after the sun came up.. 3 fish right away and then dink one here and there....

50 to 75 feet that is how far across my yard is.... its just how i measure.... (depends on which direction i am going lol)

6/6 Am report.... I am happy to report that the fishing is still decent (I have not been out much the past few weeks because of college.) Fished 5:30 to 9:30 am out of Holland and ended up 7-13. with 70 pounds of fish in the box. Best water was 90-110 on a 330 troll. Once we hit 110 we turned back into 90 and turned back out on the 330 troll. You will notice a bunch of bugs and such on the water along with the cotten. There are some HUGE schools of bait in that area and the steel are hanging out in there as well. What worked BLL Patriot 350 copper BLL Mod Blue Veggie 250 copper BLL Green Kato 200 Copper Stinger Mixed veggie UV 2 color DW SS green yellow dolphin fixed slider down 92 BLL Green/Yellow Dolphin w fish flash on the bottom Stinger NBK on a fixed slider. BLL Blue Green glow frog 300 copper Best speed was 2.4 Most fish came on the N troll between Tunnel and 2 miles N of the stacks.

Friday Saturday AM The predicted storms kept me in bed. Saturday PM 4-7 All fish over 10 pounds with a very nice brown. Hot set ups (If you can call them that) MS Blue Flounder on the rigger bouncing bottom (Brown) UV tape clear SD with a BLL Dolphin teaser rig back 120 on the diver BLL Green Kermit on the 300 45 copper 2 fish BLL Blue Kato Sunday AM Managed to get out with NVK after the weather man lied slightly. 6-7 Blue Flounder MS Standard (not mag) BLL Green Kermit BLL Mag blue/green Dolphin DW SS Blue Dolphin DW SS Green Dolphin BLL Blue Kato Monday AM... Fished on Ben Lubbs boat and he can give the report.

Start in 70 early and go on a 330 out to 150 if you have not caught by then you will be around the sliders head East back twards 100 you should catch fish. I will be in that area as well call me on the radio if you are having issues finding fish. S of suagy you will find some lakers as well.

I have looked at a speed temp probe before, and if your on a budget and only fish the weekends and holidays its not worth the money. I can dial in my speed by the divers. I would much rather have 3 rods that can reach deep then not have them and know that im going the right speed in 70 degree water at 9 am.

Fished S in front of the sliders 240 troll in and the same line back was the best. Monica and Patriot are one in the same:)

You can not catch fish on a fishawk.... nor is it needed.. just IMO

Lost a couple on the big white paddle down 145 with a mirage fly with blue beads. Lost a couple on the Diver 200 back White crush 8" pro troll with a BW proctologist Fished 90-180 and back on a 330 troll out Marked alot of fish in 120-130, 150-165 and 180-185. The problem was they were all the same cookie cutter size. We finally found some decent fish in 100-110.
