If it is of size... it goes in the box... no matter the speices of the fish Exeptions to this rule is very small kings caught near shore early season..This is fish caught in the top 20 feet on highlines. IF THE WATER IS COLD And they are not hooked. Steelhead in the winter in the river also can be released...

There are no rocks on the south side of holland:)

Just hookin... some small boats run lots of lines too:) Rule of the road...just pay attention... you cant avoid each other, but try not to cut each other off as others have said.

I had the pleasure of fishing both mornings this weekend (Been busy with work). Saturday... Fished with Ben Lubbs... he can type all that fun out:) Sunday am It was def. better then a couple days ago when we got skunked!! ended up 5-10 or so. (I could have swore we had 6 in the cooler, but I think the skunk ate the first one.... What worked... 10" Blue/Chrome SD with a BLL Blue Dolphin Teaser rig down 100 8" UV clear SD with a BLL Red Devil Teaser rig down 120 8" UV clear SD with a BLL Patirot teser rig 190 back on the rigger 8" Chrome SD with a Purple Mirage fly with Purple beads back 250 on diver. Moonshine Blue flounder on the 270 45 copper. Worked mostly into the current at 1.7 to 1.9 SOG while going SW Going North 3.1-3.3 SOG All other copper dead All fish had bait in them of differnt sizes. and we did mark alot of bait... Dave

2 riggers 2 divers 15 out on 3 and 2 mono lines with body baits if its not packed.. if it is... just divers and riggers.

Fished Holland last night from 5 till 10. 4-14... with one dang big mess at the end. What was working even though the fish did not make it to the boat... BLL Green Kato 250 copper BLL Scooby Snack (Prototype) Similar to a green dolphin 300 32 pound 8 inch white UV pro troll with a BLLliquid sunshine fly rigger down 90 11 inch fishcale pro troll with BLL Mountian dew fly 8 in SD with BLL MTD teaser rig BLL glow dolphin mag spoon 300 45. Divers dead.... Trolled 120 to 210 and back to 125 from Holland to Douglas point....

Can you fish just the 333. if so when is the last day to sign up. (waiting on weather)

I found a laker down 107 on the rigger when I pulled lines... that was released. That was number 16.

My DW report.... Fished... got beat up by waves.. Caught 16 fish all of which weight 13 pounds... weighed them... Loved every minute of it. My check is also waiting.

I shortened up the leaders from flasher to fly to 22-24 inches and added some owners..... no issues today.

For me it depends on the bait size. For example. I have not fished all week. My starting spread will be a mix of all size spoons. If the mags start going I start o change out to bigger spoons.. If the Super slims are going I change it to smaller spoons. When fishing the Mud. I run MAG MAG MAG..... give them a chance t see it. If I am fishing in and out of the mud I will leave a standard or SS on just to keep them honest.

Anyone comming or fishing Holland this weekend and want to get together and get some BBQ or something. Possibly fish a 20 dollar side pot big fish? With the WMFL not super busy this year figued it would be nice to see everyone. Anyone interested.... Just trying to think outside the box for fun.... No real rules other then be back to the luanch at a set time Fish as many rods as you want... start whatever time you want... Honor system to pay
