  2. Nice job Jim. Sounds like that waters still aweful warm. If you have a probe, how deep was the break? Thanks.
  3. Sounds like three days of heaven to me...Nice work out there. Great quality fish, a weird one and a pretty consistant color pattern. NBK is a favorite of mine as well.
  4. Thanks for the report. Sounds like a fun trip with your cousin.
  5. Definitely. I hear good things up by the nets right now, but you gotta go DEEP.
  6. Might be...I know theres a marina/yacht club just to the west of the launch.
  7. Its located on PM lake south(acrossed from) of where the Badger is parked. Go acrossed the PM River where all the charters are parked, just after you cross there youll see the HUGE condos, and right after therell be the park. You dump way down a big hill and then theres the launch. Also has a cleaning station. Launched there a few times, but its been 3 years so i put in there....I cant remember the name of the street...I think it might be Washington Ave? We only launched my buddies 20' outta there, but there were some pretty good sized boats that launched outta there while were were there. Matt, whats the handle on your boat? Ill let you know here when i head that way and then ill give you a shout on the radio. I have that brand new icom radio and a couple hundred dollar antenna. I might as well put it to use once in awhile...lol....Oh yeah, what channel you monitor?
  8. Great job Frank. Nice fish too. Thats the way to show a Kansas boy how its done!
  9. Nothing like a little chaos to make for an interesting evening. Nice job out there. Im sure your buddy is hooked now.
  10. Thanks Mike, much appreciated. Best of luck on your fishing trip, l hope the fish cooperate as well as Mother Nature...She's been aweful moody here lately!
  11. Youll get em...Keep hammering away. Nice persistance!!!
  12. Ah, i see. Thats a tough situation either way you slice it. Lose a big King or $35+ worth of gear on the dipsey rod!
  13. Nice job on the fish...Im suprised that the Power Pro didnt zip right through that Gamma!!!!
  14. I read an article in GLA and the guys on Best Chance Too only run a treble on the split ring. Just reread a section in an old issue for fishing deep and on their coppers they ran plugs. Sure enough, both plugs shown in the pics only had a treble on the split ring and no rear hook. Plugs were both Silver Horde, the standard and Ace High Plugs...Interesting. How about bead chains. Anyone replace thier dacron or power pro for a bead chain? I did this and ended up going back to Power Pro. I couldnt get a fish on the bead chains....Crazy.
  15. Awesome...Im putting the pressure on you now to boat some fish. Ill be living through you vicariously as i have to stand in my brothers wedding that day. Its not till 3 pm, so get an early start...lol...Looking forward to the GLF Boat cam. Good luck with it Mike. On a side note, you dont happen to have a link to your post where you demonstrated your set up for the kids fighting fish. There was a gentleman on another site worried about his younger grandkids fighting fish and i was telling him about your set up. If you have a link i could direct him here incase i missed any of the finer points. Thanks a bunch.
  16. Damn i missed the take off time by 20 minutes!!!
  17. Now we're talking Matt!...I saw the Donald Duck (68' Viking)for sale on Ebay awhile back....Wonder if its still for sale?!?!?! Its got the twin super charged diesels to combat the snarl of the sea!
  18. Sounds good Steve. I have some of those old steel Shakespeare wonder rods. Should keep things poppin'! Ill tell ya, i checked the Ludington web cam a little while ago.......It was constantly busting over the breakwall.
