  1. I like the new posts button. Gets me right to all the updated action.
  2. That fog was as thick as pea soup this morning...Glad you were able to salvage the trip and get the clients on a few fish despite the few interesting happenings aboard the Walleye Express.
  3. Welcome aboard Aaron. Great service you provide for your fellow fisherman.
  4. Nice job on the walleye. Thats the way to smack em!!! Sorry to hear about your boat troubles, hope its not too difficult of a repair. On the flipside, its nice to hear a great story about a person putting their own interests aside to help their fellow man. I do allot of boating and ice fishing and you see people broke down and lots of times others just pass by without entertaining any thought of stopping to help out. Also great jesture offering to pay for their gas and thanking the people who helped you. Being someone who's assisted otheres in need getting a thank you means allot. Sometimes you get it, others you dont. Once again, job well done all the way around.
  5. LOL...I sure did Matt. Called the wrong Matt though. Was calling a friend to see how he did duck hunting. Later on when i hadnt heard from him i went through my recent calls and was like whoops...LMAO

  6. Oh, did you get that pickled salmon recipe from Scott?
  7. Thanks. Its been a good week for us as well, been putting the smack down on the quackers. Nice when new birds moved in. I heard a good report on ducks down by the river and was curious on what you might have seen down there...Thanks again, good luck on the charter and enjoy your smoked walleye...Im doing duck jerky right now myself.
  8. Welcome to the site Robert. Good luck on the stream.
  9. HOLY JUMPIN THATS A BIG TREE!!!...Nice buck too!!! Good luck Mike.
  10. yup:d
  11. I think the look is great mike
  12. Great report Capt. Drew. Keep up the good work.
  13. Seems i missed this post with all my hunting expeditions lately. Welcome to the site Steve. Wish i had some good intel to offer for the area up there, but ive never fished TC, but id go with a spring type set up as well. Good luck to you, hope you tear em up!
  14. I dont know, proofs in the pics...LOL...Just kidding...Nice job Dan. Looks like you guys had some fun out there.....See any ducks in your travels?
  15. Sounds suspect to me!
  16. How many pics is that equating to for ya Mike? I asked Scott, Fishing Machine II how many he gets as he runs the older Cuddybacks and this was his response. Somewhat of a gauge for you....Good luck, whatever you end up doing. I can get around 700-900 pics with one set of batteries with the older cuddeback if its not too cold and i'm not sure how many I can get out of the new Cuddeback IR as I only had around 200 pics in a weeks time and I still had 3 out of 4 on the battery life in it!! They both take great pics compared to alot of other trail cams out there.
  17. Great report Captain. A friend of mine was down that way the last couple days and got into a few fish.
  18. I bet theres some skim ice this morning Jason!!! Was gonna go duck hunting, but there was no wind at all when i got up. They probably still moved pretty well, but that bed fealt pretty good today....We'll chase em again this afternoon....I already had to break ice a couple times this year when we had the cold snap in Oct. Good thing for the warm up or itd put a kibash on my huntin'!!!...Mid January will be here soon enough!

  19. No pic of that bird Randy. Im sure Eds got a few of it though and will certainly remind me about it from time to time...LOL....Hunted again tonight. We ended up with 3 greenheads and a couple of hens. Shot another drake with a flack jacket on...Still cant believe that bird didnt go down. Had a couple other opportunities at birds that were cooking along pretty good with the wind that i mis judged the lead on and missed. Shoulda ended with our limit of mallards, but it wasnt to be...thats huntin...Still had allot of fun. Will get those pics up when i get them loaded. Got a couple of beautiful full color drakes this evening.
  20. Nice shooting Matt. Start saving your pennies, this sport is just as bad as salmon fishing!!!
  21. Never caught one through the ice, but i can imagine theyre a little spastic!!! Make sure and take some pics of those beauties once you start chasin' em.
  22. Hey Mike, Ive been in and out of the site allot lately as ive been out hunting quite a bit. Early mornings, late nights, you know how it is. Anyhow, I know youve been in the process of modifying the walleye section. I see it is very broad now. Just wanted to say nice job it looks great. I think theres a niche there for everyone in the walleye world.
  23. Havent been online a whole lot lately. Been out hunting quite a bit. Heres a few pics from some of our outtings. Heres some pics from some recent outtings.
  24. Whats the voltage on those D Cells Mike? Theyre just run in series to get up to a certain amount of volts to run the unit. If it adds up to 6 or 12 volts there must be a way to wire it up so you can use one of those small gell batteries that are used on items like a mojo duck or a vexilar flasher? Rechargable and still a relatively small package that could set at the base of the tree, post etc. Just an idea.
