  9. Yup read that a week ago. Thats always a bad area. Nothing to hold the ice up there. Usually bad cracks to contend with. I normally steer clear of there. Thanks for the link, im sure someone will find it very useful.

  14. I agree with Steve. Also, make sure the launch is deep enough and the ramp long enough to accomadate large vessels as well. That and a deep channel to get you out to the main lake. Not so much on Lake Michigan, but Lake Huron, some of the channels going out were quite shallow with the low water levels and some big boats had some issues getting out. So, keep that channel dredged as well. Fish cleaning station, small store with some simple amenities like bathroom, snacks, beverages and ice are all great things to have a launch. Not sure on what your dealing with, so those last few may be outta your realm. Good luck with the project. Although i doubt ill ever use that launch it would be neat to see it as it comes along. Keep us posted on your project. Who knows, maybe we can implement some of your ideas to our ramps.
  15. Nice lookin rig and we know she catches fish!!!

  17. Awesome haul Yankee Troller!!!!
  18. Those are some awesome fish...Congrats!!!
  19. We have a Shakespeare on ours as well. I cant recall the model, but it was pushing on $200. When it comes to antennas done skimp, cause you will get the performance that you pay for. Ours works fantastic. I can fish up in Augres and hear guys on the south end of the bay.
  20. We've had the EZ Steer on our Hydra-Sports since we got it in 2000. Has worked great for us. We never have to remove it with our dual outboard set up. We do have a panther lift on our kicker.
  21. Sunday evening i had a huge mark come through when i was out in the south end of the black hole. I looked down expecting to see a big gar only to see a BIG walleye. Had to got 8-10# easily. So, i jigged up there awhile, but nadda. Had a fun morning. Landed 7 eyes and one had bling.
  22. Cool, let me know Steve. I like the area i fished tonight. More fish and they wanna bite. None of that lookin b.s.!!! I also think a decent percentage of the fish out deep are not walleye. Theyre nature just doesnt fit. Guess i should get a camera. Seems walleye will normally stick around a bit and look it over if they dont bite. Not that mark the fish, move the bait and theyre gone. Hell, they were shying away from a minnow on a hook whatever was down there. Tongiht was mark fish and fish on!!!
  23. Welcome back, thanks for your sponsorship.
  24. Welcome aboard Jim.
