    I went with the same theory as the previous two posters when i ran stackers. I much prefer to run a fixed or free slider. Less clutter, less chances of a tangle and still effective. And, you dont have to reset two rods if the bottom one pops. Plus i can put those rod counts to use in the form of lead core or dipsey presentations.

    Thanks, it was an absolute riot and some fine eating too! Im glad you enjoyed the Bay Steve. What a phenominal fishery it is. Im so lucky to live a couple miles from it.

    Agreed, but a survey is a good idea, and the boat is probably fine. It will let you know if the hull is structurally sound, how much moisture is within the gel coat etc. It really is a good idea.

    Sorry to hear you had such a disaster at this point of the season. Hopefully theyll have a new outdrive in quickly and installed so you dont have much down time...Give the guys an atta boy from me if you see them. Its always a relief to see help coming your way when you really need it.
