  8. Great job guys, thats a great Steelhead!
  9. Its gonna depend on how much room you have there on the transom cut out. You gotta have enough room to steer when the kickers not in use. If not, youll need to mount it on flat back of the transom with the appropriate style bracket. On our boat we had to go to the flat back of the transom and used a Panther Mount. Be mindful of the waterline when choosing your heighth. Dont wanna get too high as the prop will be coming outta the water in rougher conditions. And dont get it too low or itll drag when on plane depening on how high the bracket lifts the motor. We backed ours with a 1/4" aluminum plate that matched the footprint of the kicker mount to give it lots of support. And to connect the steering we have the EZ Steer system. On our set up we never remove the EZ steer.
  10. Great story Rob, congrats on a real nice bird!
  11. I love trim tabs on a boat. Allows you to fine tune your trim even more. Great when your dealing with changing wave conditons, you can level the boat out if you have one extra person on one side of the boat etc...Great tool to have on your boat.
  12. Not a bad first trip. Sorry to hear about your motor issues. On the bright side, it doesnt sound like anything too major.
  13. Dang, had to be brutal over there. I went gobbler hunting with my buddy and the wind was whipping in Saginaw County at 5 am. Good job on the fish you got, had to be some tough conditions to be sure.

  16. Sounds like a good time to me....If i had to guess id say the "spooler" was a King Salmon or a BIG Brown.
  17. I may be wrong, but i believe if you build the proper feeder you can feed wild turkeys. Might be something to check into Mike. In deep snow areas they say feeders like that are a lifesaver for turkeys.
  18. Welcome to the site Kevin and good luck fishing.
  19. I agree, not bad. Lotta wind and weather lately.
