    Sorry the fish didnt cooperate, but you accomplished a couple things...A good shake down and the skunks outta the way. Clear sailing from here on out...Also, sounds like Saturday morning was good and has been tougher since from what ive heard.

    We caught many more 3-5# fish this winter than last. Theyre in great shape with all the shad etc they foraged on all summer, fall and winter....Remind me of browns theyre so damn fat!

    So, when i have that problem Frank i just net two fish with one net. Just gotta be sure to drive the net home on number two to keep fish one in teh bottom of the net bag!...I hate those days when i have to do that!!!:lol::thumb::thumb:

    Beckman has a 12' handled for their nets. Extends from 8-12'. Pricey, but worth the money IMO. Nice heavy duty aluminum.

    Im a big fan of either Shimano Talora roller rods, or the Daiwa Heartland roller rods with swivel tips. Both sport Aftco guides. Other options include the twilli tip as mentioned or JR custom rods makes a titanium guided rod i believe thats for wire. Also, we have Eyefull custom rods on the site. Might want to talk to Tony and see if he can fix you up.
