  2. Welcome aboard Brian and nice finish. And nice box of fish Jason
  3. Id jump on a jasper in a heart beat. On the charter boat i worked on years back we went through 3 sets of motors. First 4 were mercruisers. The last two were Jasper rebuilds. They were better than the original motors...Never had an issue with them at all....Fantastic motors once theyre done with em!
  4. Great job Casey, thanks for making the trek over from the west side. I know all the vets appreciated it. Nice job on the 4th place finish as well.
  5. Great job to both of you. Sounds like a fantastic weekend.
  6. Nice job...fishing has been good on the bay for those getting out...I hope Augres Marine gets her going quick.
  7. Nice job Terry...I didnt think that boat could return to port with less than a double digit blood bath!!! You are human after all...lol...Im sure youll torque em real good next time out.
  8. Thank you for your service! It sure is amazing what we can accomplish when we all pull together. Events like this and the donations for that van can are things that make me proud to be an American.
  9. What a great event. I honestly dont think it could have gone any better. Thanks to everyone for coming out and showing their support for our vets. Cant wait to do it again next year. A big thanks to Nels Larson "Skeeter" on many sites for organizing this great event. Well done buddy.

  11. Like i said, the old jiffys are great augers. Yes they are good. My family has been running them for years with very little work being done on them. Clean a carb, replaces a recoil rope, simple stuff. They just keep running. Great augers. Same can be said for the Strikemasters with Techumseh engines..... If i was to buy a new auger, id probably get the Strikemaster 4 stroke Solo. Oh, and you can never talk to much ice fishing. Its the best there is!
  12. Nicely done. One of these days ill get out. This just isnt my year. The bad luck just keeps piling up.
  13. Slow retrieve is a downer. But, they are dependable and have brought many a fish to the boat. With todays options, it would be difficult to buy them if given a choice. But, i understand budgets etc, and if thats the case, they will be a solid reel that will serve you well.
  14. That sounds liek a great event. Good luck to all the entrants.
