    Great detailed report. We tried the same thing Saturday out of Holland going out to 215 in search of steelhead. We had 9 lines out and switched them around a couple of times. We ended a long morning with not a single hit. I had everything but meat rigs out during the day. I look forward to next week when the weather and the lake calms down.

    I suspect these nose injuries happen when they are very small fish. If I see my friend in the Dnr I will show him your picture. I am happy to hear someone got another steelhead in the 140s. For a week and a half they seemed to be missing. I have only dropped one rod in the lake and pulled it back in the boat with another. It is a great feeling isn’t it?     Sad to hear the steelhead have moved, probably out to deeper water. They sure were fun to catch for a couple of weeks. I go up to Ludington this week. I hope to find some Kings.
