  2. you know I geuss i never thought about that but it makes sense ,I think the days when we get bite on the entire set up we troll into the current and other times when we troll cross curent it does seem like we only get one side to work ,its worth watching , Thanks for the idea. jimmy
  3. left the dock at 5:00 pm and fished til dark30 .fished 80 to 90 fow south of holland ,went 6 for 11 ( had a couple of guys that dont get out much) soooo we lost a few.All were kings, all but one was 10 lbs or better thingd that worked are as follows: wire dipsey 90 back set on 2 with a mountain dew dodger and gold flie(had a big fish hit so hard he broke it off:mad: wire dipsey 110 back set on 2 with a green dolphin dodger and gold flie high divers set on 3.5 150 and 175 bck with green chrome dodger with green flie and blue chrome dodger with blue flie. jp slammers,glow fire dog,cut throat,king killer,beef eater,coyote ugly all took hits on everything from 1/2 core to 300 copper . sound like most of the fishe last night were in that80 to 100 fow again saw lots of fish at the cleaning station. Special thanks to Kevin on Wild At FART for giving the fish Gods that 10 foot roller wire rod a couple of weeks ago cus I think we have made it thru the June slow down!
  4. MIke it depends on the timing i am interested but will be in ludinghton frrom 6-25 to 7-4 camping with the fam. so wont be able to get out that week. jimmy

Nick, my top 5 pics would be as follows,#1 glow fire dog,#2NBK,#3king killer#4beef eater,#5mi. sunset. these spoons are my go to sets every time out.We do switch the hooks around (old school)and get a very agressive "swim" but you have to watch your speed they need to run above 2.5 at the ball to be the most productive we like to run them this way when we are running lots of spinneys fast.We switched the hooks to the large side cus they are much more speed forgiving .let me know if you want some. jimmy

  8. Sounds like it,I was told a15 yr old kid panicked when he hit the curb and punched it ,and drove into the store !!!!! No one was hurt thank God!

Went out last night again and had a very similar night ,we fished for a couple of hours with out much luck then found fish .we strarted in 90 trolled to 110 turned around went to 75marke some fish but no luck,pulled lines ran to 140 found lots of fish out there and caught 2 Lakers out there then pointed east again hit 88 fow and all heck cut loose we picked up 4 fish in a half hour those four fish came on Glow fire dog jp slammer the lakers came on a dipsey with a green and chrome flie 200 back on 3,and a glow fire dog 136 down on rigger.ended the night 6 for 9 ,,,4 kings and 2 lake trout.:DI hope the fishing keeps being this good , but i did notice the sea flees are starting and that usually kills the fishing for a while.

WOW:eek: what a night of fishing ,we went out of holland ,left at 4:30 went to 50 fow then trolled out to 109 with no luck turned back in and after 2 1/2 hrs of nothin hit fish in 75 fow turned it south and and sterted catching fish ended the night with 7 for10 6 kings and 1 coho with 2 kings around 13 lbs.things that worked...chrome and geen dodger with a gold flie,white and green paddle with a mirage flie ,jp slammer spoons ( gold ptoto types)and NBK slammer all down around 55 foot.
  15. Wow I had enough rain tonight! I fished out of holland from 3:30 til 8:00 going 2 for 5 ,I was by my self and had a tuff time fighting fish and driving at the same time.I got a 6lb king in 85 fow 55 down on rigger with an NBK slammer, the other 4 came in 60 fow 45 and 50 down on riggers,lost a nice teen,s king at the net on a mt. dew paddle with a purple mirage flie ,a nice steelie on a cut throat slammer,and a small fish on NBK slammer,and caught an 8 lb laker on NBK it was wet but i had fun.
  16. I live by Vanwieren hardware ,south on division. I do sit in the boat and listen on days when i am wishin i was fishin!

I have run pursiut plastic holders for boards and tried for dipseys but found out they will break(almost lost a rod) now i run berts ratcheting,and greatlakes holders for the dipseys and 3 on a tree for the boards.I will never go back to the plastics they just arent strong enough.Just my 2 cents. jimmy
  18. John ,Thanks for the comback on the radio i was in my driveway last night,And had just done some electrical work on the boat.Sounds like it was tuff out there,I hope to get out this weekend but wont be until either Sat. eve or Sun. eve. jimmy

  22. nice job Mark its tuff out there rite now.We fished just south of port sheldon last night and got 4 but we went from 140 to 210 fow then came back to 100 to 110 and got our fish.
  23. left the dock at 5:00 pm blew out to 140 set up and trolled to 210 marked three fish didnt have a hit ,pulled lines and ran into 100 fow on a tip from ice box and hit a steelhead on glow fire dog on 45 copper then a small king on the same glow fire dog,then a king on a white paddle with pickle sunshine flie down 100 on a rigger finished the night with a shaker on the glow fire dog again.ended up 4 for 4 on the night:D.The fish have definetly moved We did not mark more than six fish all night.
