  1. Roger, GJ on the 6 point buck. ^5s
  2. Frank, Keep after them.
  3. Fantastic.
  4. I like the 4 rigger setup. You don't have to run all 4 but when the rigger bite gets hot you play your aces.
  5. Mike, Thanks for the info on the Grand.
  6. This reel is in good condition with a few normal scratches $60. I may consider a trade for a Daiwa SG27LC
  7. Frank, I always like your pictorials.
  8. Good Job Jimmy. Now pick up your toys.
  9. Ben, A warm Holler if you need any help.
  10. GJ on the solo trip. It's tough fishing alone. Netting is always a challenge.
  11. Reid, Gotta love it when a plan comes together. Nothing can compare to the fast action of big lake trolling.
  12. Your welcome Brandon. Typically about 1-1/2 Qts of lube. I use the Mercruiser High Performance. I try to always have 2 qts on the shelf. As soon as I change it it's on the list of things to get. Try and make the boat Priority1. LOL
  13. GJ and thanks for the reports.
  14. I usually change the engine oil and filter before draining the engine block. After the oil change. I let the engine come up to temp while checking the filter for leaks and then I fog the engine. Of course you need to have the earmuffs on the out drive to run the engine. I usually loosen the belts and pull the out drive to grease the spline and U Joint. I usually change out my fuel filters in the Spring after a warm up run on the driveway.
  15. Great that you was able to get out. We need some typical Fall weather to start setting in. At least you got to do battle with a couple.
  16. I'm glad you was able to make it out and catch a few fish in spite of all your difficulties. Winter is a good time to go through all your gear and fix and change as necessary. Tight Lines always.
  17. Joe, GJ saving your best friend. When it's time to respond there isn't any time to think about hardware.
  18. Jim, It does say 10-8. What a difference a day or two can make. You'll be back on them.
  19. With radar in play the collision could have been avoided by one of the vessels slowing down and both of the vessels communicating with each other. With the foggy conditions you would have thought a few radio messages would have been in order.
  20. Although I mostly fish one port I prefer to trailer my rig. I'm within 10 miles of the port and my rig gets put in the garage most every night. I like the security and it's accessibility if I need to do something to it. Fueling is another plus. I have the launch thing right down pat and it only takes a few minutes longer than if it was slipped.
  21. Many people here have made me feel very welcome when I was on their turf. I could mention names but I'd probably leave someone out. Just trying to pay things back. AuGres is only about 10 miles from my home. It was the highlight of my weekend meeting Aaron and his father. I appreciate the kind words but I didn't do anything different than most anyone here would have done.
