  1. Matt, I wish I could go also. Thanks for posting this.
  2. Capt. Tony, Keep the reports coming. I'm holed up here in MI until Spring and those warm weather reports get me by.
  3. Waz, A warm to the GLF site. Jump onboard again this year. Kevin and I are 4th cousins so don't mess with the Waz. It is a small world.
  4. Randy, A warm to the GLF site. If you need any help just holler. I'm looking forward to your reports.
  5. The opposing buck definitely left him something to remember him. Ouch!!!!
  6. It sounds like it will do a lot for a small investment.
  7. Use them like curb feelers. They are real good for in close combat fishing.
  8. Matt, Good job and thanks for the report.
  9. Dan, A warm to GLF.
  10. Dan, That is the standard shoulda been here yesterday thing. Keep after them. You'll get on them.
  11. They were fun while they lasted. I'd even get a few of them going for the back arrow.
  12. Jim, I'll send you a PM. Thanks.
  13. Happy New Year to everyone here.
  14. I do that too and then when I switch screens I do it again. Oh what fun.
  15. Paul, GJ on the hard water eyes. Those are some impressive #s. The one that gets away can be as big as you want it to be. Keep the reports coming. That's all I have to get me by until Spring. Hang a pic or two with your reports.
  16. Merry Christmas and the best new year ever.
  17. Todd, Fantastic.
  18. Aaron, I'd spend the extra $8 and here are my reasons. The Cold Water just looks like it's made better. The line counter on the Cold Water is on the opposite side as the Convector. The Convector and Magda Pros drive their line counters with a long nylon gear shaft that runs from the left side of the reels to the line counter on the right side. I have had Magda and Convectors apart and they share some features and some parts. The fact that the Cold Water Line counter is on the left eliminates the need for this long nylon gear shaft. To me this is better engineering. Another plus having the counter on the left is it eliminates the possibility of resetting the counter accidentally while cranking the reel. I have bumped the reset before while fighting a fish on the Convector or Magda Pros. I have hands about the size of baseball mitts. LOL I have never fished with a Cold Water Okuma but have looked them over. Bottom Line: Sometimes you just have to test drive something to really know if it will fit your needs.
  19. Ed, Nothing better than those cold water yellow bellies. Clean some and put em right in the pan. When they are fresh they will flip themselves over when done on one side.
  20. Jason, Nice fish and report. Come on Spring.
  21. J-Dog, GJ on the Wixom crappies. They are the best when caught in cold water.
  22. Two thumbs up on the lights:thumb: but I like the little Santa Claus best.
