  1. JD, Nice work out of two ports.
  2. Hammering Hank got that right.
  3. Hold my beer and watch this. LMAO
  4. I knew your weight was off for the winner, but I also knew you'd fix it. Close to a 6# average to win this two day event has to be a record or close to it. We are so blessed having this great fishery in our back yards. Dan, Thanks again for your excellent report on this event, and your results.
  5. They do make a electric trolling motor that goes on the outdrive. I know some that use them but I'm not familiar enough to make a recommendation. There are pros and cons to everything. Fishing with me you probably already know I'm not a fan of kickers or trolling motors on larger boats. They work fine in ideal conditions but when it gets just a little rough boat control will suffer. Of course I like trolling against the waves at times, because it's productive and you can work some active fish without pulling lines to go with the flow. Pulling and setting lines is work, and you know I'm lazy.
  6. Red, A warm to GLF. The Saginaw Bay offers a lot of good walleye fishing. Right now it's river systems offer some pretty good shore fishing opportunities. There are some nice campgrounds in Bay City, Linwood, AuGres, Standish, and Tawas. I'll be cranking up the action out of AuGres soon. I fish a lot and I'd welcome you aboard the Priority1. Limits of walleye are the norm. I have met some real nice folks sharing trips with people on this site. There are also a quite a few Charter Boats that fish the Saginaw Bay. Trophy Specialist posts his results here. There are also a few Charters that go out of Northport near AuGres and a quite a few that fish out of Linwood.
  7. Robert, A few words could sum it up, "I'm getting old." Of course with that come wisdom.
  8. Brian, A warm to GLF.
  9. Roger, They sure look yummy.
  10. Nice work Danny Boy.
  11. Upside down or sideways it's a nice ride.
  12. I find it's far more important to stay on the active fish. Some days the fish seem to be more direction orientated and some days not. Trolling with or against the current can put you out of the action at times. "Find out what the want and give em lots of it."
  13. Blake, She's a beauty.
  14. Tim, A warm to the GLF site. You will like it here. Just holler if ya need any help.
  15. Way to smack em JD.
  16. Dan, Nice work on the Bay eyes.
  17. Keep the reports coming. A warm to GLF.
