    Capt. John, One thing us GLs fishermen learn fast is to roll with the flow. The weather is out of our control and we plan around it on a daily basis. Superior demands and gets more respect than the rest of the GLs. The one thing I am sure of, you will fish as much as the weather will allow when it is time. Tight lines always.

    I'm glad you got it into the shop for service. Cut the marina a little slack when you rate them for time. This is their busiest time of the year. Time was on your side last Fall when the engine started acting up. Time is against you now. I guess we all procrastinate on some things. Good Luck and tight lines always.

    GetReel, A warm to the GLF site. I see people out there in 14' boats but I wouldn't recommend it.

    I used to get out early but not in the last few years. Even starting late I get all the fishing I want. I'll probably splash about the middle of May. Last year I did my shakedown in early June. I just like being comfortable. Maybe one of these days you and Pops can jump on board. Two grumpy old guys and one in training should make for an interesting trip. If your son is home on leave bring him too. Gotta Luv dat Bay.
