  1. Brian, A warm Let us know if we can help in any way.
  2. Adam A., Jim, and Skip S joined me for a fast fun day out of Au Gres. 14-20 FOW pulling 2 oz bouncers and harnesses off 10 boards and 2 down rods with 3 oz bouncers. Down rods were hot with a #4 Colorado in dirty copper. We threw back 10-12 keepers and about 4 under size fish. No trash today. We pulled lines with a 20 fish box at about 8:50 AM. 1.5 MPH and slower was what they wanted. There were a few problems with floating weeds from the big blows but not too bad. I hope to be on the water again tomorrow and Sat. 3 days is about right for me. I'm slowing down I guess. A needy family got my 5 fish.
  3. Mike, GJ. It was good talking with you at the dock after the catching.
  4. Tom, A warm Holler if you need anything.
  5. Pat, A warm Holler if you need any help.
  6. GJ Mike. Jason, I'm going to have three kids and three adults onboard tomorrow. I'm hoping that the winds stay reasonable. It's all about the kids. You surely don't want any of them to have a bad experience out there.
  7. Nice work Terry and crew.
  8. I got to chat a bit with Kevin (Chummer) and Steve at the launch. Fishing sure goes well when everyone onboard is capable of getting it done. We had great conditions on the bay Sat.
  9. Dean N. Buster P. and Capt. Bob M. joined me on the Bay to kickoff Summer in the best way I know. Dean is a Korean War vet that I fished with in WFW last weekend. We fished 14-20 FOW pulling 10 boards with 2oz BB and two downrods with 3oz BB. We were not setup when the first fish hit and went in the box. A lot of of fun and a couple of fire drills later we were pulling lines about 9:15. I fished the same area yesterday and had a very capable crew today so I let them have all the fun while I just steered the boat over the fish. The Bay has never been better. Water temps were about 66 and I predict that we will be on walleye all Summer long in the inner and outer Bay. Our best colors were fire tiger, copper, and purple smile. I donated my fish to a worthy cause.

  11. I'll be out Sat but negative on Sun. Tight Lines.
  12. Tom, A warm to you. I live about half way between Tawas and Au Gres. Maybe we can get together sometime. Fishon. Holler if you need any help.
  13. I had the extreme pleasure of fishing with Joe W aka side job, Chuck A, Al S aka Hemlock Nailer, And Ryan B. It was rougher than a cob in a hillbilly outhouse. We had to scale back our presentation to 8 lines. Sometimes less is more. 14.5 to 17.5 FOW going approximately 1.5 MPH pulling BB and harnesses. WE ran uphill and downhill with good results in both directions. It was fishon almost imediately. 2-3 foot waves with an occasional 4. A five man tough limit pulling lines @ 10:30 and farming 3 keepers on the end. We probably boated 10 undersized fish. I didn't have my camera and Chuck took a cooler shot with his cell phone. We also took 2 big cats that Joe wanted for a friend. My fish went to a worthy cause and I hope to get some for my table tomorrow. Gotta Luv dat bay.
  14. Nice LT. Don't they get super stressed being brought up from those depths?
  15. GJ, Dick and Tom. I wish we would have met up and talked afterwards. I had a 92 yo blind WW2 vet, and a 82 yo Korean war vet, onboard. They managed to get one short of their limit and a quite a few just under. It was a very good well run event. Larry M, Rat City Hooker, helped me show these vets a great time. The seas were a little tough with my aluminum boat. Please keep Elmer G, the 92yo WW2 vet, in your prayers. He is having heart valve surgery on the 25th. Elmer was Priority1 yesterday. Thanks to everyone who participated in this event.
  16. Jason, GJ in the Fireman's tourney. It's an ever changing game and you know how to adapt.
  17. I should buy them and burn a piece in a can every once in awhile. I miss the smell of the paper burning on those antique paper sonar graphs. It's funny the stuff one remembers.
  18. John, I'll get a hold of Chad about your misdirected Facebook posts.
