  1. For those of you that are cost conscious, like I am, I can do one of these units for $370 with windows XP pro or Vista Business depending on the COA stickers that may come with these units. The unit above and the other ones I sold have all been updated to Windows 7. I like W7 if you are going to use it online. XP is fine to run as a chartplotter but it is no longer supported by MS. All the units that I presently have have been upgraded to W7. These units also have MS Defender Anti Virus software added. Let me know if you have any special wants or needs with software and I will do what I can. These all meet US Government military specs. You will not find a tougher piece of electronic gear for anywhere near this price. This unit is in extremely nice clean condition.
  2. I put the pic in with your post. I hope it helps you. A Warm
  3. This Panasonic Toughbook Chartplotter is in good condition. WIFI, Fresh Windows 7 with COA sticker, GPS Receiver, AC charger, DC charger. This set up is loaded with all the Great Lakes Charts. It even has Lake Winnebago, Burt Lake, Mullet Lake, White Lake, Muskegon Lake, and others. These are all NOAA certified charts and can be used in place of paper charts required on commercial vessels. I have been running a setup like this for 5 years and wouldn't consider any thing else. No Chips to buy this is ready to be used. It has 3 usb ports and a SD card slot. $400 I sold one of these a few weeks back and two a couple of days ago. I may do a few more of these but I need to start concentrating on my boat and fishing gear.
  4. This was SOLD locally this afternoon. I'll probably list another one soon in this price range. I still have a newer one for sale on this site also. Thanks
  5. I saw Tim's post today, on another site, that his church was unable to accommodate the meet this year. He was unable to secure another place. He said he'll try to do one next year.
  6. I haven't heard anything about the Grandville Swap Meet this year. I was unable to attend the last couple but was looking forward to this year. Anyone been in touch with Tim?
  7. It's only money. I'm just hoping Priority1 hangs in there as long as I'm able to fish. It's always good to see you at the ramp or talk to you on the radio.
  8. Different unit. The one I was running on my boat was sold a few weeks back. There is a 50 50 chance this one will be sold today. A local person is looking at it early this afternoon. if it sells I'll list another one soon. Thanks for your interest.
  9. Scott, Thanks for your interest. I'm going to show this one to a person in my area later today. If it sells I'll have another similar one like it up for sale soon. Thanks again.
  10. Scott, A warm :welcome: to the GLF site. If you get a chance go to the welcome center and introduce yourself.

There are some good people that hang here. Just holler if you need any help. :)

  11. Some larger pics. And another showing what a waypoint looks like in Scott's area.
  12. This system is so easy to use. The control key is used to control most functions. You hit Control and D and it enables or disables the dashboards. For Track it's T, For Automatic it's A, For Zoom in it's Z, For Zoom out it's X etc etc. The Toughbooks are more sunlight viewable also.
  13. The cursor shows it's coordinates on the bottom of the dashboard the ones at the top of the dashboard are your location in real time.
  14. If you notice a couple of the screen shots above have a red arrow that shows position in real time just like any other plotter. It will leave a track and you can write a page of information about any waypoint. The GPS receiver is USB and is about the size of a pocket watch. This is also a great planning tool on or off the boat. I'll fire up the laptop to get the screen shot you want. I'll turn the dashboard off to give as much view as possible. This shot will have 5 more zoom in steps. In fact I'll post two shots one zoomed to the max. Thanks for your patience it takes some time to do and post the shots. Zoomed all the way in it's about 2miles N-S & E-W Sitting on the dash I can see depth numbers from the back of the boat with my old eyes. LOL As far as these being used like a typical laptop yes and no. Don't drop or spill on the typical laptop. Of course these are heavier than most laptops. Click on pics for a larger pic view.
  15. CF-30F/G (mk2) Windows Vista (Nov 27‚ 2007) CF-30K/L (mk3) (May 11‚ 2010) As near as I can tell somewhere between the two dates above. These were dates posted for their model owners manuals. Thanks again for your inquiries.
  16. I'll do some research and let you know. The current model is the CF 31. They sell for about $3000 new depending on what is loaded. If anyone that is interested wants some specific screen shots of your area let me know.
  17. This is a CF 30 MK2 dual core that has been upgraded to W7 pro 64 bit with COA. It also has 4GB of ram. It shows very little wear. Thanks for inquiring. I do have a CF 31 also if you are interested in a newer Toughbook. I formerly ran a CF 29 on my boat for 5 years. Nothing like these big screens for a reasonable price. They take a licking and keep on ticking.
  18. Ed, If they are both in the same condition I don't think you could go wrong with either one. Give me a call and stop on in when you're up this way.
  19. This Toughbook can do double duty. If you need a job site computer that can take a fall or a cup of water over the keyboard this may be for you. I have one on my boat and pick it up and take it with me on trips. These are not a wimpy laptop and weigh about as much as a shotgun. The weight is there to protect the product. One of their commercials show a Hummer driving over a close toughbook. This one is in good condition and hasn't seen the life that it was built to endure.
  20. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr! Nice pics Ken.
  21. This is a Panasonic Toughbook with a Fresh Windows 7 installation.I have been running a different Toughbook on my boat for 5 yrs. This one has been recently updated and is in good to vg condition. including AC charger, DC charger, GPS receiver, and personal instructions. As you can SEA this system has incredible zoom. Very easy to use complete with all Great Lakes Charts. $400 SOLD locally this afternnon. Thanks I'm posting this here using this set up connected to private WIFI. No external signals are needed to run this GPS chartplotter except the GPS signal. The GPS maintains signal in my basement.
  22. If anyone is interested get with me soon. Models like this sell for $1000 or more. Thanks:)
  23. Aaron, Get one and change your name to Bubba. They do look nice.
