  1. GJ Terry. Gitter Done.
  2. Hey it looks like you started in NY so we will leave it here. LOL Sounds like you had a FANTASTIC trip.
  3. FANTASTIC!!!!!! Phil and Adam. Keep that Plumb Crazy HOT, so we can hammer em in a week or so.
  4. Five us onboard the Priority1 took 19 decent walleye today. We only had to measure two, and one of those we farmed. BigJack, Ralph Smith (MS), Hemlock Nailer (MS). Jim, and myself fished a long day. We got things figured out and were taking 3 or 4 fish every time we drifted a 1/4 to 1/2 mile section of water. Our most productive water was 28 ft, and we were drifting with 8 inline planer boards. We were 40 back with 2 oz bouncers, with crawlers. From the radio chatter it seemed that most were struggling. Gitter Done.
  5. I will be cutting my fishing down to two or three times a week, for awhile. I need to get caught up on my Summer chores. We sure did hammer the walleye the past 7 or so weeks. I'll be back posting tomorrow. I do have a report for today on the Saginaw Bay. If anyone should ask me to go fishing, I'll probably say to heck with the chores. If I start to look like I'm going through withdrawal, let me know so I can rectify it. We went through about 600 crawlers so far this Spring and Summer. I never kept count on the walleye, but if I never catch another one this year, I got my share. My wife doesn't realize how tough fishing is on me. Gitter Done. I had an enjoyable trip to the West side. I wish the weather would have cooperated so I could have visited with some of you that fish the WMFL. Cazz made a couple of good calls in regards to the weather. Another THANK YOU to Rick and Randy (TadPole).
  6. The thanks goes to Rick and Randy and their wives for the hospitality they showed me. I owe you two BIG TIME. Come on over and fish some walleye. Thanks again Rick and Randy. The TadPole is a nice ride, and the owners are a class act. Five of us were out today on the Priority1, but only managed 19 walleye in a long day of fishing. It was rough so we did some drifting pulling 8 inline planer boards. It took us awhile to figure out a program. It looks like the bay will keep producing good catches.
  7. I'm looking forward to seeing my Westside friends.
  8. We got off to a slow start but finished strong. We fished for an hour before getting the skunk out of the box, with a near 8# walleye. A couple of minutes later we boxed a 5#+ walleye. We were on our way, and the eaters started coming in small bunches. We also boated a catfish that one of the crew wanted. RogerH69, Frank (yes another one), Bob, and I got the job done. We lost a few fish but ended up with 21 keepers boated. Of course we had to throw one back. Same program as posted before. It's good to have a crew that can work both ends of the boat. I'm taking a break from walleye fishing, and joining Rick and Randy on the Tad-Pole for the WMFL event. We are going to fry some walleye @ Rick's house. I fried some walleye this eve.
  9. I have run both the regular Stinger and Scorpion spoons, ahead of harnesses. I use a bead chain swivel both sides of the spoon and a 3 hook harness with beads and sometimes a Colorado spinner. Colors I like are Chartreuse, Purple, Glows, and orange. I was lucky enough to have a good crew, and win the Huron Stinger Challenge with this set up. I have run these with in line weights, Bottom Bouncers, Dive Bombs, and Snap weights. The bottom bouncer is my favorite way to get them in the fish's face. Find out what they want and give em lots of it. Oh!! keep the harness short and close behind the spoon.
  10. There have been some perch caught off AuGres near the hotel. I will not fish for them until mid September and into November if the weather permits. I'm whacking walleye, then shifting gears and slammin salmon.
  11. Nice ride Mike. I'm looking forward to that ride in a couple of weeks. It looks like you have it rigged well.
  12. LOL I'll see you this weekend. I'll bring Cam's jacket.
  13. GJ Clair, WTG. I never fished St. Joe, but hope to do it next spring.
  14. The holiday harvest still left a few fish for us. We were going to start early but the weather changed our minds. We waited for a small storm to pass and had a cup at H&H. It started rather slow but picked up in the late morning. I hope I can get out one more time this week, before heading SW to fish for some salmon on the TadPole. These fish were take on crawler harnesses and B.B. in 27-30 FOW. Purple and Glows did the trick. I think other colors would work, but I keep running what worked for me in the past.
  15. It will only get better. GJ
  16. WTG Ray. Some real nice pigs.
  17. WTG Doug. Nothing like a mess of them lake perch.
  18. It will get better R-Turn. One good thing about those Fleas, the perch gorge themselves on them.
