Jim, It was a pleasure meeting you @ the Birch Run Show and at your home with Randy and Rick. It was good to see you and the new lil one @ Muskegon. Thanks for your involvement in the Dreamweaver Charity tourney. I always have a great time when I make it to the sunset side.
Rich, I just wanted to personally thank you and your family for a great job on the Dreamweaver BigJon Charity Tournament. I know what goes into doing something like this.
Thanks for the info Capt Craig. Not much different than adding two split shots to get the bait down. I may just give that a try. I don't have any cores longer than 8 colors.
Yes Sir, Mike has a nice ride. The best thing about that ride, is his two cabin boys. Hunter and Wyatt are the best behaved kids I have ever seen. Those two boys will have memories of fishing with their dad, that will last a lifetime.
A lot of the problems with the GPS systems is the loss of Sat. signal. The ones with the eternal antenna will be far more reliable than the ones with internal ones. I have an ancient LMS-350 Lowrance Combo Sonar GPS with the antenna on top of the hardtop, that NEVER looses it's signal. The key is a clear path between the antenna and the sat. With the internal antennas it's all about where the unit is mounted. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. I'm not saying you can't have problems with a properly mounted GPS, but I have seen some poor installations even by marine dealers. Metal objects like windshield trim and Bimini supports can and will interrupt the signal.
A warm welcome to you J1. Sorry about the late response. I was out of town for a few days and still catching up. You will like it here. Just holler if you need any help.
