  1. Keep that chummer onboard. It may draw the fish in. Seriously, it's no fun for anyone when someone is sick.
  2. You da Bomb Adam. WTG
  3. Private Message sent Mighty Mouse.

  4. LOL Randy. I thought the walleye fishing last year was FANTASTIC. This year is way better. Come on over and fish.
  5. GJ Dan. Gotta Luv the Saginaw Bay.
  6. WTG Toxic. It just don't get any better.
  7. GJ Jim. Congrats on the 4th place in the tourney.
  8. At least you had some action. It will only get better. It can be tough in the search mode.
  9. We fished Out of AuGres, but the wind was a bit stiffer than the forecast. I didn't want to pound the wave into our hunting grounds, so we set up just off Pt. AuGres and started a drift program. We took a few walleye in 28-31 FOW and the wind died down a touch. We decided to go a little South even though we couldn't run because of conditions. I saw a bigger boat heading South so I let the larger craft bust waves for us. We set up again in 26-32 FOW and couldn't do any thing trolling into the waves. We turned and started drifting and ended the day with 15 nice walleye. My usual Bouncers with crawler harness of the inline boards did the damage. Colors were my usual Purple, Chartreuse, and glow, all doing equally well. It was a bit more work than yesterday. It would have been better, if we could have went where we wanted to, right off the get go. Yesterday was like harvesting. I only had 6 lines in the water for a very brief time. I never got the chance to sit down, until I took the helm and was heading in. Gitter Done. Gotta Luv dat Saginaw Bay.
  10. GJ Adam. Thanks for the report. Gotta Luv the Sag Bay.
  11. GJ Slammer. Thanks for the report. I knelt on a treble hook last spring while getting my gear ready. It was through my bluejeans so I cut the hook leaving as mush of it as possible in my knee. This allowed me to remove my jeans and put some shorts on. The hook was in past the barb so I called my neighbor over. I twisted the hook with a pair of needle nose pliers as to make it come out the way it went in. I looped a piece of 80# Mono on the hooks bend, placed a rag for a handle on the mono, and had my neighbor jerk it out while I kept the twist on it with the pliers. It didn't hurt going in or coming out. The mono must be jerked with one quick strong motion. This method may save someone a trip to the ER.
  12. OUCH!!!!!! Well at least you took a few fish before you had to leave. I hope you are doing OK.
  13. Big Jack, Chummer, and I set lines at about 8:00 AM. By 9:35 we were sitting on 12 fish and started pulling lines because chummer wasn't feeling well. We picked up 2 more fish while pulling lines to leave with 14. I didn't want to mention chummers real name because he lives on a boat in the AuGres Yacht Club. It's not fun when you don't feel good, and most of us have been there. I'm not saying much about where or on what, but I will say DITTO. There is a tourney out of AuGres this weekend, which I will pass on. GL to the sportsmen that are in this tournament.
  14. Thanks for the report. Any time spent on the water is always great. I'm sure you will light em up better next time.

  19. GJ, I'm glad to hear that Ludington and Manistee are heating up. They are my favorite and closest Lake Michigan ports.
  20. GJ Nick. It was a pleasure to see you and meet your crew @ the Dreamweaver.
  21. GJ Rich. As far as lost fish, they do that for a living, and we are all rookies in their world. If we never lost any, there wouldn't be a challenge.
