GJ Mike and crew. Give Hunter a ^5 from me. The weather patterns have kept the fish longer in the Southern to middle ports. It's been a different year on both sides of the state. Keep hammering them.

GJ Randy. We were all rookies at one time. It's good to share our sport. Come on over. I owe you a trip and a fish fry. You needed Rick onboard to educate those rookies, with his words of wisdom.

We were trying to average about 1.5 MPH on the GPS. Sometimes we would run a zigzag pattern and picked them up both on the inside and outside of the turns. Sometimes they just want it different. The surface water temp was 73 degrees.

Five of us boated 28 walleye today. We weren't targeting wall hangers, but wanted to get some decent numbers for a couple of young men that never fished the big water before. The Grumpy old men had newbies to growl at. I haven't changed a thing since the end of May. Chartreuse, Purple, Orange, and glow harnesses behind 2 oz B.B. over 26-29 FOW. GITTER Done. I take that back. I did run a spoon harness combo for the Stinger Challenge, and week or so after that. Walleye fishing 101. Find fish on the graph, put meat in their face.

WTG on the Erie King. Yes those Kings do get boat shy especially when the come in green.

I mostly run the Fishcatchers (AKA Hootchie Mamas) but I also use the wildest hole. Looking back at that statement It looks like it could have come from an X rated site.

GJ with a tough bite. Lately it's flat or 4 footers. I may be out tomorrow, but the weather will rule. I'm fishing with 5 others 4 of them rookies so I'll call it off if we have 2-3s.

That would only happen with a Carp. Makes for a good story though. The cooler temps in June and this month have kept the fish right where we want them. Remember 2 years ago when the inner bay was near boiling?? Gotta Luv the Sag Bay.
