  1. Welcome Aboard Al. I hope to see you on the bay.

  2. Welcome aboard Al. I live between AuGres and Tawas, and fish the Saginaw Bay, mostly out of AuGres. Let me know if you need any help. I hope to meet you on the bay or a launch site. I have walleye on my breath. I just got through with dinner.
  3. You smooth talker Nick.
  4. Welcome to the site mjj. You will like it here. Holler if you need any help.
  5. 2 for 3 not bad for not having one of your main tools. What a difference the electronics have made in our game.
  6. Jason, GL in Frankfort. I hope to be in Manistee next week for a few days.
  7. Way to figure it out and gitter done Dan. Find out what they want, and give em lots of it.
  8. People get disorientated in the dark. I'll bet they never had a safety course of any kind. A CG or PS course should be mandatory. TG they all survived.
  9. GJ. Way to figure it out and gitter done.
  10. GJ on the perch and eyes. Were the perch puking up water fleas??
  11. Priority1

    Nee Hi

She is all you need to Gitter Done. Nice Rig.
  12. GJ Cut that rookie some slack.
  13. WTG on the Kings. It sure has been a different year.
  14. GJ Salmonquest. I never fished the Straights area.
  15. WTG Jay. Staying tuned to conditions is the key.
  16. Welcome FishTaco. You will like it here.
  17. Most that stay at the Insta Launch Campground, trailer their boats to the City Launch. It's faster and a lot safer. It's worth the $5 extra.
  18. Welcome Tony. Love them Hardtops. It's a shade tree in the middle of the lake. I added the link for your pics to your post.
  19. Welcome to the site Bigdog. I'm sure you will get some responses from the Lake O crew.
  20. No doubt leadcore and copper will work on the eyes. I have run core for them but I have never fished copper for any species. Running boards, I have never saw the need to run anything but inline weights, or bouncers, with crawler harnesses, spoon rigs, or cranks. In the Spring I use the shallow diving minnow imitators in close. It takes at least twice or three times as long to get the core or copper set, not to mention the time it takes to bring it in. In the mean time you could have set two or three simple rigs up. I'm not against anyone doing there thing and experimenting with different presentations. The K.I.S.S. method works for me. Keep it simple and put fish in the box. JMHO
  21. GJ Tom and Pat. I love that port. Last year @ this time I was running flasher squids off Dipsys, glow Js off the riggers, and some meat rigs. The Js were the BOMB. I wanted to go there this week, but it wasn't in the cards. I will probably be in Manistee for 3 days next week, and possibly a few days the first week in Sept. I will definitely be home over the holiday weekend.
