Good day on the water Scott. We have all lost fish at the net. Those fish make a living out of doing just that. If it was easy we wouldn't do it.

They look like they would be great tool for river fishing.

Mike, You can kill two birds with one stone. Buy one of the quality saws recommended in this thread, and give it to your wife as a gift. It could save you some money @ Christmas, Birthday, or Anniversary. Of course you want to be ready to show her how to operate it, so she can truly enjoy your thoughtful gift.

This was my best year ever for walleye, but last year was a very close second. I only made one Salmon trip, this year, with my boat and did ok. I was able to hook on, with some of the good people here, for some quality Salmon Slammin. It was a very good year. I believe the cooler Summer temps, helped the fishing on the Saginaw Bay. Of course we had fish numbers like never before also.

It's bad luck to argue with me on my boat. But I'm a gentleman on and off the water. That's why I'll give the offender a life jacket to aid in his return trip. Can't have any bad Karma on the Priority1. Grumpy Old Men can't be held responsible for whatever circumstance you may find yourself in. Never fight with an old-timer. If he kicks your A$$, you look silly. If you kick his, you look even worse.

Jim,Thanks for the report. You are tougher than I am. I hated to walk to the mailbox to get the newspaper. It rained hard here for two days. I don't mind fishing in some on and off light rain.
