  1. I just have and use a bow mounted, remote controlled spot and flood light. The key to safe night time boating is do it slow. A GPS with coordinates a half mile or so out from the pier heads. I'm sure there will be other suggestions.
  2. V Data Memory Stick New Installed and pulled. Free Just pay actual mailing cost, probably a couple of bucks. Here are some #s MSGVD3E4G3160B1A0H PC133(3)256MX8 S/N: 512TH (VDABC2808) Gave it away
  3. These are new complete with Allen Wrench. Blue finish. The box says Med .770 I measured them on the desk and they measure about 5/8 inch from bottom to C/L with rings tightly closed. They are still in the box. The part number on the box is 34322. I'm not sure if the contents match the part # but they are definitely Leupold Rings that have been on my shelf for years. $15 plus actual mailing cost. Should mail in an envelope for a few bucks.
  4. An 11 inch Tot is just the right size for those Hawgs you catch. It's a nice Logo for your shirts.
  5. Good try Jason.
  6. I would add a wire setup or 2 myself, if I ever got into Salmon fishing as strong as I once was. When the salmon on Huron slowed, I concentrated more on the eyes. You just never know, I may still add one to the spread. I can see where the very best reel drag you can get, would be an asset when running wire. I have 4 braid Dipsy setups now. I did see some Okuma roller rods @ Northwoods in Pinconning for well under $100. I'm not sure if they still stock them. I'll see if they show them on their site. PS All I see on their site is the Okuma Blue Diamond combos, but you never know what you may find in their store. If you are in the area it is definitely worth the stop. http://www.northwoodsoutlet.com/oscommerce/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=3&products_id=1100 Frank's Great Oudoors is about 5 miles South on M13 and is worth the stop also. I have found some of Frank's stuff priced better than Northwoods. When Northwoods opened up Frank's prices started coming down. Frank's is a lot more organized, but Northwoods has a lot of deals.
  7. GJ Roger and Terry. Nothing like a meal of fresh caught gills. What does that jig look like? I doubt you will find me out on the ice, but I'm curious.
  8. That will be one lucky dog. B Dog will be great for the boys.
  9. VN Jarod. Digital cams are pretty cheap compared to a few years ago.
  10. Dave, Welcome to the site. Let us know if you need any help.

  11. Welcome to the site Dave. Nice buk with the smoke pole.
  12. Tangles with adjacent riggers can be reduced by running them at different depths. It's also wise when setting riggers to set the deepest ones first. I usually run my rigger depths in a V pattern with my deepest being the inside riggers. My out and downs are a little higher. I don't always run 4 riggers, but when the rigger bite is HOT all four will be down with sliders on everything except the flasher rigs. Off course weather and lake conditions dictate how much gear you want to put out.
  13. Don't forget the Flint Steelheaders show in Birch Run. I usually try and make it to this one. I met the Fish Dog crew, and the Stinger guys last year. I bought some one and two ounce Dive Bombs @ the show to experiment with. http://www.flintsteelheaders.com/spring_show.htm PS My wife went to the outlet mall while I cruised the show. She spent a lot more than I did, but I think I got even and then some. LOL
  14. I think the key is having a quality ball bearing swivel ahead of the flasher. The one on the flasher along with the one on your line gives it twice the twist protection. The bead chain suggestion is also an option. Presently I have all my walleye trolling set ups terminated with 25# bead chain swivels.
  15. Nice pic, and I hope 2009 will be as great as that sunrise.
  16. GJ Jason.
  17. Happy New Year.
  18. I have 4 of the Big Jon Multi Set rod holders for my divers. I never saw any of the tight line holders other than in pictures. Big Jon does make a quality product. Someone here must have used the Tight Lines.
  19. Steve, A warm welcome to you. You will like it here.
  20. Sean, Don't P*ss the boss off. LOL
  21. Rich, That is so cool. Dom will remember those trips as long as he lives.
  22. My glow stuff is on the engine cover with the back lights shining on them. Before sending any glow stuff down it gets flashed with a camera flash or I just shine it with a LED light.
  23. Those frogs probably get into the cracks, then make their way close to the foundation. Some heat loss from the building probably makes it like a FL vacation. Cool Pic Ken:)
