  1. Keep hammering them Phil. I'm looking forward to fishing with you this coming week.
  2. If you were running 2 oz 100 back in 30 ft of water at those speeds, there was no falling about it. They had to be dragging bottom all of the time. The rods on the inside of a turn have most always produced our largest fish. I don't think it was a drop just the slower speed. It worked great for you and that's what counts. Were your rods pointed skyward, so you were not actually a true 100 ft back??? Sometimes in that scenario there is 40-50 ft of line out of the water. Congrats again on the great box.
  3. Duane, It was a nice day to be on the water. I'm glad you got some fish.
  4. GJ Tom. I would have loved to be out there today.
  5. WTG Mike, Sounds like a fun day on the pond.
  6. GJ Rob. It's good to know that fish came on riggers Dipsy's and core. Good Job on making it happen on everything.
  7. I came up with an idea for the reminder sign near the port and starboard exits. I think I'll just print a picture of a propeller, and make a stencil and paint it on. This will be a reminder to check things especially the outdrive before I exit the boat. A red prop should draw my attention. A no cost solution to a potentially expensive problem.
  8. At that price, and with your bucks, you should have bought 2 rods and reels.
  9. Single color is fine.
  10. Dan, Did you ever try them with the skin on, and grill them skin side down? The Skin will darken or burn a little. Just watch till the fish gets that flaky done look. I have done this with butter and lemon pepper. It's good and no tinfoil needed. Just sit there and eat the fish right off the skin like a seagull.
  11. How about a couple of smaller size ones for truck and boat windows. I was holding off putting some MS ones on to give GLF top billing.
  12. GJ Don. You Sifted that King out of the trash.
  13. I will NOT be out until after the weekend. Good luck, and leave a few for me.
  14. It is a nice logo. Mike and I talked about this a few weeks back. I'll bet he has something cooking.
  15. Being one of the grumpy old men, I vote for "Reel Cranky".
  16. Way to go Roger. I like the cool water crappies. Catch one in a couple of months and they're not near as good.
  17. GJ near the Spoils Dan. That area is super good this time of year. I think we will have another banner year on the Bay, with the fish being slightly bigger. I bought a few of the Thunderstick rods a couple of years ago, and they came with a Thunderstick lure. A fairly decent inexpensive rod with a bonus. I think they were $10-$12.
  18. When ya see that ya know it's not going to be your day.
