  1. I went on a shakedown cruise with John B. aboard the Brandy. John picked me up at 8 AM. His boat was supposed to be ready but wasn't we went to H&H and had a cup. Returned about 45 minutes later and still not ready. Johns boat is rack stored year around. The marina damaged his Beaver Troll, and that was the hold up. We finally get out and boxed 10 quick fish. We had 5 fish in the box before we could get set up. Another limit trip farming a couple of keepers. Oh!!! same program as yesterday. BB and Meat 30 FOW. Gitter Done. I'll be out tomorrow in my boat, with John B, FerrisStateHunter, and his dad.
  2. WTG Tom. A Fantastic day on the water.
  3. Way to gitter done, Phil, Adam, and South Dakota. ^5s
  4. We were the mavericks and headed just a touch S of Pt AuGres. We gave out that information, and I had another Starcraft Islander just about run over my port outside board trying to get close to us. His boat darn near went over it. It was like he wanted to run over our exact same track. Those fish are all over the place. If you know how to fish, there's no reason to crowd anyone. Radio silence from now on especially on the weekends. Just a mile or so S. Jason.
  5. The Grumpy old men fished with Brent and Dave out of AuGres. Big Jack is the other grumpy old man. We had to work a bit for a four man limit, and a bonus whitefish. Actually by the time we cleared our 11 lines we were two fish over. Of course we farmed the two and headed in. 30 FOW 2oz bouncers and harnesses. Purple was our best color, but we took fish on pink, chartreuse, and orange also. The old dogs can still gitter done, especially when we have some young pups to do some leg work. We are just warming up. The lilacs are blooming so it's time to turn up the heat on the Saginaw Bay Eyes. Get em while there HOT. I will post some pics later. I didn't have my camera so I'll get some pics via email.
  6. Mike, Are you going to get some smaller ones? They do look nice.
  7. I'm glad you made it out Sean. Good company, and being out on the water is reward enough. Fish in the box are a bonus. We have all had tough days catching fish, and you did manage one.
  8. Tom, I fished today. 2 ft waves with an occasional 3.
  9. Tray, I hope nothing got major got damaged. Impellers should be changed every few years.
  10. GJ Kevin and crew. Grandkids are the best. Ya know they are our rewards, for not killing their parents.
  11. I have been watching blow here also. I may just have to break my rule, and fish the holiday weekend.
  12. Phishy, Nice boat.
  13. Best of luck with the salmon slammin.
  14. Just thought I'd bump this. Three boats, and about a week away from sending in the money. Sign up now.
  15. I may be out Friday on the Brandy, to do a shakedown cruise with one of the neighbors. John B keeps his boat in rack storage all year, so I know we will not hit the water until at least 8:30. He has to call ahead to get his boat put in. Priority1 may get wet over the weekend if the weather is a peach. I just hate dealing with the crowds. On the weekdays, most everyone gets with the program. Memorial Day weekend brings out the three times a year boaters, that haven't checked their equipment, and think its perfectly alright to tie up a dock for over a half hour, trying to start their boats. I try and help out whenever I can. Most of these boaters don't have a clue what proper launch, or boating etiquette is. GRRRRR enough of that. If I do go out it will be early. I have been watching it blow the last couple of days.
  16. Phil, Go for it.
  17. Thanks for the report Jim. Better late than never. Nice box of fish.
  18. That is a ZIP file. You need to unzip it with WinRar, or another similar program. The file is compressed to save space. I hope this helps you. The advice above to turn the page is right on.
  19. Mark, VN Ride. It looks like you took your time, and set it up right.
