  1. I'm using Ubuntu now and it seems better. I may be ready to cut Micro Soft off at the ankles. Better but still not good.
  2. Other sites are fine, just have problems with this one. It just started a few days ago. Sometime Home page will not load, or I get tired of waiting. Sometimes trying to post under a thread and it will go fine, other times not.
  3. Sloooooooow, even trying to post this reply. The home page loads slow also. I'm going to try coming in with a Linux OS.
  4. GJ Scott. Gotta love the Saginaw Bay.
  5. Dan, A warm welcome to you. Let us know if we can help in any way. You will like it here.
  6. WTG Jay. Way to overcome your screw up. A year or so back I forgot my nets on my first walleye trip. We hoisted in the smaller ones and reached down and grabbed the bigger fish. Ya do what ya have to do.
  7. Nice going Jason. Keep on hammering them.
  8. Adam, Good job on those eyes. I'm glad you were able to make it out. I took the weekend off.
  9. Today was not about numbers. I was host to BuckNDuck and his two beautiful children. RogerH69 was also aboard, and the two of us grandfathered those two kids, and loved every minute of it. Emily and Hunter reeled in 90% of this box. ^5s Emily and Hunter. Take a kid fishing. 31-36 FOW Crawler harness and Bouncers. Ohhhhhh! Our HOT bait was Capt. Jay's Purple Sickle Blade Harness. Our other harnesses in purple, pink, chartreuse, and glows. If I would have had a 10 of those sickle blades, they would have all been out. I only had two. We were running an 11 rod spread, when the Bay laid down. Gitter Done.
  10. Now the rest of the story. I just found out, that this SOG that I towed in had the pontoon at the ramp, turned sideways, and jump started with his truck. He had a dead battery and went out over 5 miles. He tied the ramp up for several minutes. trying to get it going. He knowingly went out with defective equipment. You just can't fix somethings.
  11. Gitter Done. Paperboy, Sir Slurppy, and Ralph Smith, fished with me out of AuGres. It wasn't hot and heavy, but the fish did come in bunches. We kept pounding a couple of way points to get the job done. Bouncers and meat on harnesses, 31-38 FOW 1-1/2 MPH. I know my reports sound redundant, but I just keep force feeding them. Like always, "Find out what they like, and give em lots of it".
  12. We towed a pontoon boat in this afternoon. My biggest catch yet, but I couldn't keep it.
  13. You can NEVER have too many rod holders.
  14. Four of us came in with 19 walleye. We boated 23 keepers but must have farmed one too many. Bouncers and meat 31-35 FOW, 1-1/2 MPH. They are there. Gitter Done. RogerH69, another Frank, Jim and myself. Fish came in bunches, and then some lulls. I accidentally deleted pics from my camera. I had one that showed flag down and board squatted back.
  15. We picked up a couple suspended fish but most were scraped off the bottom.
  16. I like to be there when the sun touches the water. You hear a sound like sticking a hot poker in a pail of water, and hang on to your A$$. A half hour before and after sunset is MAGICAL.
  17. We had to work at it, but managed a 4 man limit in 30-32 FOW with bouncers and crawler harnesses. We started in 2 and 3 foot waves but it laid down later to about 1 footers. Pink and purple were good colors. 1-1/2 MPH GPS was a good speed. Anything it takes to Gitter Done.
