  7. WTG Terry. You had a fantastic day on the water. It sure beats the heck out of working.
  8. Dick I was thinking about you a few times while out fishing. I'm glad you had a good June on our beloved bay. If you make it back next year give me a call, and maybe we can have lunch on a windy day.
  9. GJ Jay and Adam. I wish I was there with ya. Manistee is my favorite late Summer port.
  10. Tom T. aka TallTails, and Paul R. aka Paperboy, hit the pond with me this morning. We started fishing in 2-3 foot waves, that laid down to 1 footers. We managed a 3 man limit drifting and trolling. I'll bet you'll never guess what I was running. 3 oz bouncers with harnesses over the side, and 2 oz bouncers with harnesses off inline boards. 1.5 MPH over 29-30 FOW. Colors were purple, pink, red, and chartreuse. I had some Colorado, Dakota, and Smile blades on. Our hottest rod was over the side with a homemade red smile blade. Fishing is not as easy as it was a couple of weeks ago. We started early, to beat the bad weather forecast. I like fishing ahead of a storm front. It was a rare trip for me because I was on the helm the whole time, except for a nature call. Starting out drifting and trolling into the 3 footers was a task. I felt I could control the boat best. Any fisherman knows, if you don't have boat control, you don't have nothing. TallTails, and Paperboy, were very capable on the back of the boat. GITTER DONE. Oh!! We did get two bonus perch, some undersized walleye, and some farm animals. We threw back 3 legal walleye
  11. Jason, I may fish one day this weekend. The fish are not as concentrated in AuGres like the whole month of June. A lot of fish came out of the bay so far this year. Just find some active fish, and gitter done.
  12. A warm welcome to you Rick. You will like it here.
  13. I'm glad you had a gr8 time.
  14. GJ Dan. I have had two 8# fish come off just shy of net reach this yr. The fish have to win a round or two. WTG on the solid 8.

  16. GJ Terry. It's going to get better soon.
  17. GJ Marty. It's tough right now, but ya know it's going to get real good real soon.
  18. I gave Priority1 a 6 day rest. Man was she ready to hunt. 27-30 FOW, 3oz bouncers over the side, 2oz bouncers off the boards. We pulled 11 lines with harnesses and the real deal. Pink, Purple, Chartreuse, and red. Ideal speed was 1.5 MPH. Sound familiar? Big Jack W took the pic of Paperboy, Myself, Mel D. and Kevin D from NC. Gitter Done. It felt good to have some honey dos behind me and hit the water with some friends.
  19. A warm welcome to the GLF site. J Wheeler gave it to you straight.
