  1. I fished with Bob W, Mel D, Jim H, and Tom D. The walleye were there but for the most part had lock jaw. The prize of the day was a 38 inch Northern that tipped the Toledo (Scale) @ 13#5oz. Mel D. finessed it to the net and it was scooped up by Tom D. This is the second Northern we took on a crawler harness this year. Gitter Done. Going to take a week off to catch up on the chores, I let slide. When the fishing is hot, it's Priority1.
  2. VN Roger. She's lookin good.

  5. WTG Terry. Keep hammering them.
  6. Looking for warmer water on the Saginaw Bay in August. WTH!!!! The warmest water we could find around AuGres was 67. Some of the surface temps were only 63. We only took 5 walleye 4-1/2# on down. None of the fish needed measuring. We had to slow it down for lethargic fish with lock jaw. I'll try it again tomorrow, but I may start concentrating on the perch soon. We had another fantastic year whackin walleye. The river fishing should keep picking up. The shad will be running the rivers in about a month, and the eyes will be in hot pursuit. I'm waaaaaaaaaay behind on the honey do list, but my honey keeps cutting me slack.
  7. VN King Capt. Dick. How did you do on the bay this year? I wish we could have gotten together while you were in the area.

  10. Nick we took 8 nice Kings and a Ho Sunday night. After a few hrs sleep we were out before daybreak and took 11 Kings Monday morning. It was a great trip aboard the Lycora.
  11. Today was a different story. The E. wind have their jaws wired. I thought they may turn on ahead of the storm front. That's what I get for thinking. Those fish can humble you. We did have 6 takers, but only 4 make it to the net. Gotta Love The Saginaw Bay.
  12. Duane, Way to gitter done.

  14. When the waves a washing over the break walls, it's best to sit it out. Play it safe, and fish again.
