  12. Steve, A warm welcome to you. GL in TC.
  13. I tried full synthetic last year. It got dirty just as fast as regular oil. Trolling is a lot tougher on oils than cruising. When the oil starts to darken, change it. Mine gets changed 2 or 3 times a year. I do a lot of slow trolling. I like Castrol.

Congrats Mike. Take the lead doe out. She's the one that will give you away.
  15. It's all about water temps, but a good rule of thumb, whitefish runs usually coincide with rifle deer season.
  16. Jim, I get the drift now. I think you run him out of Muskegon.
  17. Eric, FANTASTIC. A well deserved buck.
  18. God bless her, and all our troops. She's an Annie Oakley. I have been wearing a red shirt every Friday to show support for our troops.
  19. They can never be too big, but the bigger they are the more stuff you accumulate. If you have lots of room, relatives will want to fill it for you.
  20. Regular changes are the key. I change mine when it starts to darken. Mine gets changed two or three times a year. Trolling is tough on oil.
  21. I sure hope they catch the SOBs. Maybe they will try it with some duck hunters, and get a load of steel shot in the face.
  22. Two thumbs up for Seafoam. I add the Seafoam, then run the engine until it's up to temp, then top off the tank. The reason for running the engine is to get the stabilizer into the fuel pump and carburetor. In the Spring I fill up the boat after every trip. Later in the year I may go two or three trips before fueling. After a long lay up, all the fresh fuel you can add, just can't hurt.
