  1. I have a few of the OR18s on my boards. They are adjustable, and as stated they are a great release. I have used mine a couple of years.
  2. Gitter Done:) You sure keep on top things.
  3. Welcome Aboard Robert.

  4. Robert, A very warm welcome to you. If you get a chance go to the welcome center and introduce yourself. If you need any help give a shout.
  5. I believe that what is referred to as a clean spoon, is one run without any hardware ahead of it. No offense because terms sometimes change from location to location. Thanks for your reply.
  6. I have personally witnessed him fishing with crawlers. 2 cents worth.
  7. I didn't have any snow on my driveway this morning. I think the strong E wind across the pond had a moderating effect right here. One of my neighbors lost about a bundle of shingles off his roof. A few miles in any direction and the snow situation was a lot worse. The wind has shifted to the SW so we will get snow tonight.
  8. Yes I did. I wanted to gross everyone out, and eat it all myself.
  9. Pass the dip please.
  10. If they are where they are showing them, then it's probably too late.
  11. You could probably use a black rubber bungee strap with your big balls.
  12. I guess I was a little tired when I read the initial post to this thread. Ports I fished this year in order of numbers. 1. AuGres Several 2. Frankfort Twice 3-6. Bay City, Linwood, Port Sheldon, and Holland. Once each It seems I never fished Tawas this year. I usually do a couple of times. I had a difficult time, wanting to leave AuGres. The Priority1 never went West of I75 this year. Thanks to Phil & Adam (PlumKrazy), and Capt. Paul, for my Salmon fixes this year.
  13. I had two friends go through last ice two years ago. One still fishes with me, the other didn't make it. R.I.P. Frank D aka Rubberband Express. Please don't rush the season.
  14. I was thinking about the Blacks or Chamberlain releases.
  15. Ice is nice, but I like a boat under my A$$.
  16. Saginaw Bay, a few trips a year to Lake Michigan various ports. I like Manistee. I have fish Port Austin a few years back.
  17. I like the blasts from the past. I liked living in the past, and with some memorabilia I can still live there. Anyone remember Spank's Lures out of Grand Haven??? I have a couple of carded stainless steel spoons. The spoons are called MAULER and their TM was a bear with a salmon in it's paws.
  18. I hear he is changing his name to Cheetah.
  19. Rod, A very warm welcome to you. I fish mostly on the Saginaw Bay, with a few trips a year to Lake Michigan. You will like it here.
  20. You are at the right place, and you do admit to the addiction. Unlike other addictions, this one is treated differently. Your squeeze fishes with you, so you are far better off than you think. Buy a couple of spoons and call me in the morning.
  21. I'll be running my two middle riggers next year on the bay. I had a thread about it just a couple of weeks ago. The riggers will allow me to run up to 14 rods. Here is the link to that thread. http://www.greatlakesfisherman.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15766
  22. Rod, A warm welcome to the site. If you get a chance, post a little something about your self in the welcome forum. You will like it here.
