There are a lot of things in life that are just not fair. The way I look at this is you can vote with you participation, or lack there of. It's the same thing at the store, if ya don't like the price or quality, ya don't buy it. It's good to question payouts and rules, It keeps the honest people honest.

Just a thought, but the cooler and a team member or two could be dropped at the weigh in if the rules allow it.

Jim, Merry Christmas 2 U also. I do agree the fish seldom shake those BIG single hooks. The only disadvantage to them is brain hooking shakers.

The speed wheels on sonar units are not much use since GPS. They are so inaccurate and vary with waves and direction of travel.

I have the old style probe yet. It came with the boat. If it ever goes bad I'll certainly upgrade rather than repair it.

Adam, I'm about 40 miles away and it hurts just as hard. You are right on about Frank's. Their store is well organized and the prices are very competitive.

There are a lot of good buys on all kinds of toys. I'll be picking up some gear right after the holidays when the mobs clear out of the stores. A guy can never have too many toys. Priority1 needs some TLC also. She will get new trailer bearings and seals, new starboard wiper motor, repair the helm seat, possibly new curtains, and what ever else I see that needs fixing or updating.
