  1. Duane, Most voltage regulators are inexpensive and can be done by anyone with mechanical abilities. They are built into the alternators. Heck you can replace the whole darn alternator for about 75 bucks. Here is a link for some marine alternators. Before doing anything check your battery connections and grounds. http://www.db-starter-alternator.com/c-7743-mercruiser.aspx
  2. The Charities hold fish most of the time. The only problem with that is the long runs. There are still a lot of fish being caught within 5 miles of many different ports. The Charity Islands are a good bet when you start seeing Inner Bay surface temps getting over the mid 70s. I never search for hogs but try and fill the box. The hogs do come once in a while.
  3. Jacob, Keep hammering them.
  4. Steve, Thanks for the Sebawing Caseville report. GJ on the udder side.
  5. Steve, It's going to get better.
  6. GJ on the LTs from the sunrise side. Gotta Luv what we all have going for us.
  7. Capt. Ron, Thanks!!! I always enjoy reading your reports.
  8. TJ, Keep hammering them. I wish we could have wet a line again this year. I enjoyed fishing with you on your boat and mine.
  9. Doing good Tony. Reading these reports is what is getting me by. Watch out gators in 5 mo weeks. I have to take it real easy until then.
  10. Tom, GJ out of my favorite port. Tom were you pulling meat that far back in those depths?? What was your speed?
  11. Bob, GJ keep after them.
  12. I don't make any long runs either when I can catch limits within a few miles of the port. The Charities are an option when the water starts to boil.
  13. Thanks Luke. Good current info is what this site is all about. I have fished the East side of the bay before but will not run over fish to get there. Long runs don't bother me when It's necessary. The whole bay is hot right now and I wish I could be out there hammering them. The outer bay has been good for over a month.
  14. That just isn't so. LOL Keep up the good work on the East side. Large numbers of keepers are coming from all over the bay right now. I wish I could be out there hammering them now. I was only able to make a few trips so far and punching 4 man limits was not much of a problem.
  15. Jacob, GJ out of Muskegan. Gotta Luv what we have in our back yards.
  16. Mark, Prime Time is right around the corner. Thanks for the report.
  17. Kevin, Gotta Luv it when it all comes together. You are a lucky man to have a wife that will fish with you. My wife will go if we don't get deeper than 3 fow and are within a 100 ft of the shore. LOL:thumb: Keep hammering them.
  18. I have had days in rough stained water where the more it glowed the more it would go. In milder conditions it always seemed like the mild glows worked better. On a clear day driving into a sunset or sunrise has you turning your head, cringing, and pulling down the visor. Too much of a good thing in these conditions. On the other hand a cloudy day and it's no big deal. Conditions change and too say mild is always best just isn't so. Find out what they want and give em lots of it. I had one day where I limited quickly with super glow cannon balls with super glowed Js running 10 ft behind them. Five out of 6 fish came on the two deepest riggers set @ 60. Gotta Luv the predawn action.
  19. Jonas, Gotta love that action. Keep the pics and reports coming.
  20. Bruce, Way to smack em.
  21. Mid July through early Sept Frankfort will shine. Thanks for the report. I love the Frankfort area.
  22. Jim, It will get better. Thanks for the report. Quality time on the water with your son is what it is all about. Successful trips are measured in many ways. GJ on the yellow bellies.
  23. Luke, Sorry to hear about your side trip to the ER. I enjoy reading your reports from the udder side.
