  1. Drill a couple of holes and try it. I'm thinking that it may not run well or the manufacturer would have done it. But what the heck give it a whirl and revert back to the original if you don't like it.
  2. Luhr Jensen and Dave Davis are the ones I know of. Of course LJ is now owned by Rapala. I'm not sure if these are the ones you saw hanging.
  3. Kevin GJ on the Winter fishing.
  4. Eric, Thanks for your help. I know the calculator has helped many. Frank

  5. Capt. Chris, Thanks for the report.
  6. I use some stuff called Made-in oil. It's made in my basement with herring oil. I'm not sure if it helps but it sure don't hurt.
  7. Tony, Congrats on the new ride.
  8. I buy more clothing at Cabela's than gear. I like some of their shirts and usually buy them on their super sales. Both my vehicles know the way to Linwood and Pinconning. I just punch the cruise and enjoy the ride.
  9. I belief Rapala bought out LJ a quite awhile ago.
  10. That is one introduction I'd be honored to handle.
  11. Matt, I do likewise but my favorite spots are the corners. You may have me on the netting off the bow. I haven't had to try that yet.
  12. It is a cool thing with a lot of work involved. TYVM Erik.
  13. Gitter Done Dan and please post a report.
  14. Brian, A warm welcome to the GLF site.
  15. Actually I prefer to net off one of the corners. If I have an out and down in I temporarily swing it to the rear. When the fish is about right a slight turn puts him right in the basket. A good helmsman can see what is happening and do his thing. That is another reasons I don't like a rod pointed skyward especially when the fish is close. I like the rod handler right behind me.
  16. Dan, When I Googled it I found a quite a bit of stuff. Lets try and keep it light and positive. A few Links. http://www.freshwaterfuture.org/userfiles/file/GLMRIS%20Public%20Comment%20Period%20Fact%20Sheet.pdf http://greatlakesenvironment.blogspot.com/2011/04/chicago-buffalo-glmris-scoping-meeting.html http://www.asiancarp.us/news/glmrisschedule.htm
  17. Sherman, You don't have to apologize for a great post. TYVM:)
  18. Kevin, Nice Pics.
  19. Nate, A warm welcome to the GLF site.
  20. Kevin, She's a beauty.
  21. Gerry, A warm welcome to the GLF site. Holler if you need anything.
  22. Dave, The Yellow Bird must have came from another Priority1. I think I may have found one or two floating over the years but I have never run them. I did run my homemade Big Boards and switched to the Offshore OR12s a quite awhile ago.
  23. My Toughbook is a CF-29 Touch Screen. It came with 1/2 gig of Ram and I added another 1/2 gig. The drives are small. I use mine for business purposes also. The touch screen is not required. Tiger Direct has them as well as eBay. I'd recommend downloading the programs on your PC and trying it before shelling out the bucks for the Toughbook. If it's not for you there is no harm done. I had mine running on my PC a couple of months before buying the Toughbook.
  24. Erik, They look real good. Or should I say reel good?? Erik with a K. I have to keep correcting myself.
