Hey Paul, This past year was tough weather wise with a lot of Noreasters and rain. I was not 100% either due to bilateral knee replacement in late Nov 2016. The healing process takes a tad longer as we age. I had some other complications through the recovery, mainly bad side effects from meds. I'm doing fine now as it's been 14 months since both knees were replaced. I have a new GP Dr and he is getting a pretty good handle on medical needs. I hope to be on the pond when the water temps start getting into the 60s. Maybe we can put some eyes on ice. TC my younger friend. LOL Give me a call and stop by when you're passing through.

This sure was a great event. I just enjoy the people. It's great to see how well the energetic youngsters get this all together. Visiting with old friends and making new ones is what does it for me. I hope to be there again in 2018. A big THANKS to the kids and their leaders that made this all possible.

Holland I'll be at the Holland Swap Meet again this yr. Larry and the Church's Youth Group do a fabulous job making this event happen. It's a win win situation for the kids and all of us. If at all possible try to attend. I'll be there with some 13.3" Toughbook laptop style chartplotters that will sell for $400. I'll also have some 10+" Tough Tablet style chartplotters that will sell for $350. Both of these setups will come complete with all the GLs charts. Check em out. I'll also have a galvanized anchor suitable for a larger boat $25. Ask me how I caught it walleye fishing. LOL I'm looking forward to supporting the kids and their plans. It's also great to meet up with old and new friends.

Yes Kevin is Far Beyond Driven but aren't we all. Our hobby is a disease.

I hope your dad has good results with his surgery. We're lucky to be living in this time frame. It wasn't too long ago when these procedures were not even dreamed about.

I'm looking forward to this event. It's always great to see old friends and make some new ones. Anyone from NE MI need a ride over? The youth group always does a great job. Thanks Larry for getting this going.

Larry, Count me in. It's a great event and the young folks do a great job. Put me down for a wall table with an electrical outlet. I'm flexible with time and dates. Let me know if I can bring anything from the NE Sunrise Side.

Down for a bit but not out Recently I had bilateral knee replacement surgery and I'm doing fine. Having both knees done at the same time was the best option for me and the Dr. actually recommended it. If he hadn't recommended it I would have brought it up. I only spent three days in the hospital and came home from there. Most folks that have two done at the same time go to a rehab place before returning home. A couple of weeks after surgery I was doing stairs and even did a couple of minor chores in the garage. My therapist thought I was BSing him when I told him I was working in the garage before his visit. I also need a lot of rest. and there are still some issues that I'm dealing with. I ditched the walker a couple of weeks ago and use a cane limitedly especially after just standing up. It's a good time for me to hole-up and heal and hit it hard in the Spring. Fishon

http://www.greatlakesfisherman.com/fishing-hunting-outdoors/gallery/image/6840-581f726447706-103inchtabletjpg/ Many folks have asked me about rugged tablets. I just was able to get windows based 10.3" tablet. I updated and installed w10 pro and Office. This one was sold before I even received it. It will use it's own internal GPS and measures 9"X12"X2" including the rubber corner bumpers. It weighs about 5#s. I hope to have more of these soon. These will sell for $350 ready to go with AC and DC chargers. Here is a link to a screen shot.
