  1. Here you go Mike:
  2. The boss and I are heading up to Mackinac Island on wednesday and thursday. According to the DNR reports the lake herring have shown up in McKay Bay and my wife would like to fish for them. That means taking the boat along. Here are my questions: What would be the best option for taking the boat? We are staying on the island wednesday night so I would either have to leave it hooked up to the truck overnight in the parking lot of the ferry, take the boat over and leave it at the marina or find someplace secure where I could unhook and store it. What would you do? Also, has anyone ever launched out of Cedarville? Any problems for my 22' Sportcraft? Any problems getting to the Bay? Thanks in advance. Nick
  3. I've got pictures of them Mike, but I don't know where you can find them online. I also have a UV Blue Dolphin. I'll try to take a pic and post it.
  4. I have a pair of the Big Jon Pro Tournament riggers and really like them. I know Mike just upgraded to Brute's. These allow you to fish with a 20 lb cannonball. Big Jon's are top quality and the service is second to none.
  5. I will do it Mike. I was thinking of ordering one anyway.
  6. I will be fishing out of Ludington sunday night and monday morning. we have friends that rented a cabin on Hamlin Lake for the week and I'm going to take people out fishing. Hopefully the fish cooperate. But I agree with Mark, it's a good weekend to head north. Unless these storms today bring in the Skamania;)
  7. You really did it in style! If you just mounted a couple of rod holders you could run a couple of rods:D
  8. I bought these and planned on using them to mount my riggers but they didn't work on my boat. These are brand new, never been used. $75 shipped to your door or if you want to pick them up I'll subtract the cost of the beer I'll buy you. Your choice. Nick

  11. Sorry it is taking me so long to get these posted guys. I didn't save the total points, just the weights, so I am waiting to confirm the last 2 people. Also, I have been having computer problems off and on since saturday. I will post them as soon as I can. Nick
  12. OK guys, everything is set for tomorrow. I'm taking off in a few minutes so if you have any questions call my cell. Nick 517-795-7185
  13. Lines in at 5 and channel 72. You can pay after, no problem. We are going out tonight so I'll check in 1 more time before we take off.
  14. They are fixed and at different angles. I'll post some pics and dimensions, but it won't be until sunday.
  15. Mine are homemade, just not by me. If you want I can get you some pictures and measurements.
  16. Hey Mike, that might be the set of nets they are talking about. The DNR marked them with staff buoys. They think it might be 2 sets of nets tangled together. It said 130' of water 7 miles north of Muskegon. Either way, I plan on staying away from that mess. Hope it gets taken care of fast and someone has to pay.
  17. Triple mount holders are nice but I prefer the rod trees. I have fished both and the trees are more user friendly and function better. Take a look at the trees offered by different companies, you won't be disappointed.
  18. This antennae has a solid copper core, not cable. You can only get it at West Marine. Either way mine works great, I don't know why or care, just know that it works.
  19. Here is a great antennae value if you need one. If you are patient I have seen it go on sale for as low as $35. I have one and love it. http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/producte/10001/-1/10001/223411/377%20710%201407/0/Antennas,%20Mounts,%20Cable/Primary%20Search/mode%20matchallpartial/0/0?N=377%20710%201407&Ne=0&Ntt=Antennas,%20Mounts,%20Cable&Ntx=mode%20matchallpartial&page=CategoryDisplayLevel1&isLTokenURL=true&storeNum=5003&subdeptNum=3&classNum=309
  20. Hey now, just because I have my laker program down pat there is no reason to bash the Grease Trap, I mean Sugar Mama.
  21. I agree with Don. I've got a $100 Uniden Solara from my old boat that I am installing on the new one. I paired it with a $50 fiberglass antennae from West Marine. I have had days where the range has reached almost 20 miles. I was fishing out of Pt. Sheldon and talking to someone in the channel at Muskegon. The radio is purely a safety feature for me.
  22. There are fewer people fishing the League this year for different reasons. Thata being said, I think more people will sign up as they get a better idea of whata the weather will be. I am planning on 10+ teams for this week.
  23. Here is the best price I have been able to find for it: http://www.cascadegps.com/store/simrad-autopilots/
